Hudson float valve VS. Jobe float valve

In no way do I claim this to be a scientific test. This was just a quick video I tried to make and show the Hudson float valve and jobe valve. I could have done a better job if I had assistance. I had to hold the phone with one hand and the bucket in another hand while recording. One thing to point out is that the reliability of the jobe valve is definitely more reliable. Ive used Hudson valves since my first trailer. The issue with Hudson valves are no adjustability. Jobe valve have the ability to adjust the float ball to a degree for water level cut off. I’ve had my Hudson valve stick a few times and overflow my tank but the jobe valve isn’t built like the Hudson for it to stick. Take what you will from the video. Also my times may not exactly be accurate to the spit second.

Do you by chance document the flow through each valve. Just curious if it was different?

Unfortunately I don’t. The give valve is my main valve all the time. The only time I use the Hudson valve is when I need to double fill my tank. This is why I don’t even have a hose reel going to it.
