#No to Tax on Tax:#
We pay incomeTax, also for the (various) 'taxes suffered income' and 'also for the tax' we paid on various heads, including GST, repeatedly.
We are paying all kinds of taxes , like Professional, Petrol, Road, Service, Tollgate, besides GST on every transaction ranging from 1% to 28%.
Yet,
we pay incometax for this already tax suffered income also, again.
Tax is counted as income: That means, the tax amount we have already paid on various heads are counted as income, in incometax filing. Truly, it is tax suffered income.
In filing incometax, there must be provision to show our tax suffered spending and also the various taxes .
The right logic is,
the (GST like) tax suffered spending is expected to be "exempted" from Income, while computing incometax.
Or else,
the various taxes we have paid to the government must be counted as "Tax already paid"
Or atleast, the least
the various tax amounts we have paid to the government must be deductible from the income .
Dear Government, Stop income-taxing for the "already paid taxes" as GST, on Petrol, Road and Toll, etc.,.
Give provision to adjust the paid up taxes (as GST, Petrol,Toll, Land etc in incometax filing) and give us the refund.
