- I loved this drama! Every character was likeable and the fight scenes were great. I had to check a few times to make sure it wasn't from a BL novel cause the chemistry between Xiao Se and Wuxin was on point!
My video summarize the evolution of their relationship.
I didn't see a lot of works about these two although I find they have great potential for a ship! The actors did a great job!
Apparently there is a season 2, I hope we'll get to see Wuxin more often in this one!

@@princekrice3819 That's the novel. The drama is not. The director took advantage of the novel's popularity and made it into a straight movie. If you want to see the difference between bromance and censored BL, watch the new version of Addicted, where you can clearly see that they have a romantic relationship (minus the intimate scenes, of course). The "you can see it in their eyes" about TU is not a confirmation of their relationship, it's what we want to see, knowing the nature of the novel. Simple as that.
@@MadMillithe untamed is bl, they have copious amounts of sex in the book and get married like stop being homophobic and wrong like pick a struggle.

They totally remind me of Wu Xie and Xiao ge from Reunion : Sound of Providence.
Wu Xin always coming to the rescue just like how Zhang Qiling coming to Wu Xie's rescue.
Wu Xin only appears in few episodes just like Zhang Qiling in Reunion even though he's the main character.
Finally Xiao se trying to rescue Wu Xin just like Wu Xie trying to rescue Zhang Qiling but still ended up getting saved by the other.
It's so frustrating to see your favourite character gets less screentime when they are the life of the show and i am robbed of so many moments.
For someone who's watched it for like almost 50 or so times, the edits still. Make it easy to note the little parts and make it more interesting❤

Blood of Youth has been on my watchlist for a while now, but I always keep pushing it back. Seeing this edit has convinced me to start it.
I hadn't even heard of the series but now I'm intrigued. Literally only came across this because your WOH vid is one of my faves.

This was amazing, I watched this drama, but I hadn't even seen this side to them and now I am obsessed!!!
I completed watching all of the episodes until the ending last year. It was so good actually, to the point that I want a season 2 from them. The drama circles around friendship, adventure, brotherhood, Martial Arts, Action, Wuxia, Youth, Fantasy. The bond of the characters was so cute and cool at the same time. They were all crackheads too 🤭🤣♥️ They had a great chemistry with each other to the point that I even shipped Xiao Se or Prince Yong An to almost all his friends or more like brothers like Wuxin and Lei Wu Jie. The youth or the friends even at young age fight as one for justice for everyone and soar high. The Blood of Youth was worth to watch 🫶🏻

The same reason the untamed almost didnt make the cut, where changes were made so the series can come out. Still I wish they gots more scenes together because they have the best chemistry in this drama overall. Whereas some characters I feel got killed off too soon.

The novel is not BL but I don't know what the author was thinking because even fans of the novel felt no chemistry between the FL and male lead. She was forced in our faces and, amazingly, the director portrays their chemistry in the novel here as well. So fans of the novel just ship them together and when the drama came out fans of the drama did the same 😂😂. I wanted to know what the author thought, like what were you thinking you wrote an ML and SML that have more chemistry together than the female which I don't even consider the FL.

I was watching the series and then i saw that the sixth prince is marrying the girl qinou or something(I'm not good with Chinese name)and now I can't watch any farther cause the chemistry between these two is something else and i can't see one of them to get married with some girl in front of the other one😢.
p.s. I know this is not bl but i just can't help but hope for their happy ending with their chemistry.
There is a special ep after ep 40 .....in the last scene Xiao Se goes to Wuxin to fulfill their Kunlun Mountain visit promise .....I don't think so Xiao Se likes her in that way .....Xiao Se and Wuxin are the real soulmates.
I think the drama was highly censored bcuz during their promo for cp also ....Youku literally put Xiao Se and Wuxin poster together instead of Qianluo or Lei Wujie ....along will all other boy girl CPS.....like if it was not them they could have actually put Lei Wujie along with them ....but no ....they put up them instead 😏

i really loved Chinese bromance dramas, since lots of them are masterpieces. this drama is good just in first half for me, i enjoyed it first, but then i gave up it after about 16 episodes. cuz there was a clingy girl who always tried to follow xiao se, her obsesión was creepy. she really was annoying. it's look like xiao se not really into that girl, he's not interested in but can't help with that girl's obsession with him. i didn't see any chemistry between them. iirrrrk I feel so bad. also in novel, donghua and drama xiao se always remember wuxie, worried about him so xiao se got sick when he was in the boat, he was also in his dreams. the drama got boring when the two female characters entered. they labeled it as a bromance series and main leads were male characters. but i saw a good bromance among male trio just in first episodes. although wuxie is a male lead he didn't get enough screen time. i want to see xiao se, wuxie and lei wuji together, and their adventures, if there's a season 2
