@@aamira4578 I think it is, the fox spirit wasnt human, he doesnt know what is love. He know he desired that have that man's heart filled with love ( for his wife). In end, fox gave him a lock of hair stating that it is his wife's hair and by carrying this hair, you will be united in next life. But it wasnt the wife's hair. I think it is implied it was fox's hair. The fox spirit want to meet him in next life.
These two are actually promising. I'm surprised to know that He Changxi is actually an idol singer. They both conveyed the emotions really well. He Changxi's act when he pleaded with Pei Rong to continue to live on is heart-wrenching. I hope they both have more opportunities to showcase their acting talent in the future.

@@WingsQ these are two drama segments from a larger show called Actors take your place. If you search for them under the actors names you should find the shows. I have not seen the English translation of Wuliang (the pieces where the man is in black with a beard) but Painted Skin is in English if you need it translated.

sandra black I watched first episode of word of honor, I will be watching it next episodes as well. Well I can see similarities between this story and The Untamed story.
1. The good guy is always dressed in white, like Lan Zhan
2. The other person likes to drink, like wei ying
3. That person wears a cosmetic mask to hide his identity, just as wei ying wears a mask after his rebirth.
4. The girl in the purple dress has a whip in her hand. It is similar to Jiang Cheng's Zidian. Jiang Cheng is also wearing a purple dress.
5. When the girl in the purple dress tries to hit the beggar with a whip, the man in the white dress saves beggar . It is similar to Jiang Cheng trying to attack wei ying with his zidian, but Lan Zhan avoids attacks and saves wei ying. Both of these events take place in the 1st episode of both dramas
6. The person who hides the identity seems to be upset for some reason. He also harms himself. It's like Lan Zhan burning his body with a hot iron after Wei ying dies

I watched both these short dramas .. they were brilliant the actors were wonderful to watch and it really made a change from some of the other bigger productions .. but it would still be great if these actors were in more longer historical dramas .they were both very charismatic and elegant to watch..

Wth. I've died. I have never seen this before and don't really understand what's going on but I can feel both their pain and it looks like an emotional mess
I can spoiler it for you a little bit. Wife brought home one beggar, but he was demon fox. Couple didn't know that. Demon fell in love with Wang Shen ( husband), but Wang Shen wasn't aware. So fox wanted his heart (not literarly, literarly he was eating hearts of other people to maintain youthful appearance, hence this bowl with human hearts soup). Oh well, demon is demon, he tricked his benefactor, and Wang Shen was executed, because fox made him look like demon. Long story short, demon tricked him again, by telling Wang Shen-ghost that if he will have his wife's hair they (Wang Shen and his wife) can meet each other in the next live. Hehe.. That was fox's hair!
