Sucks that Blackout has been shutdown forever befor it even really got a chance to take off.
I don't know how I feel about this, unturned was always a survival game for me, recreating other games in it kind of makes it feel like Roblox 2.0. That doesn't take away from the fact that what has been done with it is impressive.

@@shabingle5064 I know, i am not that guy, but unturned was originally based off of a roblox game, that nelson sexton made, that got reeeally popular, (I know cus used to play it) and he was tired of clones being made, and wanted to expand it further, and that lead to him creating unturned.
@@shabingle5064 Nelson Sexton's first game, was a game called deadzone, on Roblox, after he realized the limitations of the Roblox game engine, amongst other things, he moved to unity, and all his games (So far) have been heavily inspired by Roblox, especially when you look at the paleomodels in game, and the overall blockiness of the game.
i remember getting 1500 hrs on this game then quitting around when the russian map was released. came back a few months later and played on what i thought was a vanilla server only to see a guy come out of his super car pull out a staff with infinite durability on it, and 1 shot me. I'm probably remembering this incident incorrectly, but it haunts me all the same

I think blackout is good even at a pretty primitive state, the control on console are amazing for a game from pc. It's kinda cool too to have the feeling of nostalgia mixed why discovering

Great simple days of Russia map, remember playing the game back 2015, joined a server w/ the lowest ping, formed a community, and the rest is history (464 playtime). We still greet during holidays.
Since Unturned came from Roblox. It is interesting to see the modding support for it and allowing people to make their own games off this playground. Not only has unturned become a game from a Roblox playground, but it has also become Roblox in and of itself.
I hope the same thing happens to Deepwoken.

p9 KOTH was also fun, it captured rust in unturned except you didnt have to build bases, there was a limited amount of bases you could take for your own

ok i'm not gonna lie i was pretty let down when it ws just a call of duty mod
but i get that the point is that there's never been something this professinol and high quality in the unturned modding scene,
and now that it's a thing and it's out it's sure to shake up said scene,
and perhaps lead to equally impressive/high quality mods in the future
but i feel like it could've been conveyed a little better (not that i think i could've done it better)
either way the video made me wanna play unturned again so imma go do that now

My biggest problem with unturned was always the guns, meaning availability, range, damage and variety. And the verhicles mechanics which are to say the least:"funky". Also clothes are bad with no real variety in loudouts for survival. I was always looking for mods to combine to get: more beuatiful detailed map for which i used overgrown russia which was amazing. A car mod which fixes car fysics give more variety and also adds functional verhicles like a fuel tanker. And i was still looking for a good balanced gun mod that adds a ton of variety to gun play. I think implementing the guns from this mods would be interesting in a survival setting.
I miss Deadzone on Roblox. DZ lost the zombie game war to Apocalypse Rising, which is now quite good with its sequel on roblox.

When i started playing unturned i only played the Battle Royale mode, and I really enjoyed the PVP it had. this looks like something that should be a official gamemode in unturned, id sure as shit would get me to redownload it.

I would love to see you revisit toontown again 2 years later but this time try Toontown: Corporate Clash it’s like the modern version of toontown and it has a bunch of sick new modes and a new gag track! And a leveling system and just a ton of stuff
This reminds me of the games coming out of roblox now. Bad Business and Phantom Forces are full FPS games

The last thing about Roblox caught me off guard, but I understand your point of view. I am currently developing a Roblox game and the Roblox engine has DRASTICALLY improved in graphics, serverside performance and many more things. So watch out for some good looking Roblox creations coming out in the future. This video was awesome, thx for the content!

Welp it's dead now due to a internal dispute between the developers. It was already going to die and the guy basically admitted it. Nearly no one played it cause Unturned is like 95% private servers and single player now.
Unturned has no future as a open multiplayer game, at least not anymore. The game doesn't even really have a public community anymore. Nearly everything is gate kept

if you like call of duty, then wait this year for SM2, its a COD fangame what combines the best guns, maps, character, UI, etc

Ngl, Blackout does give the Black Ops nostalgia but it feels like Roblox's Phantom Forces in some ways, maybe cuz blocky models (both character and weapons) but Phantom's weapon models are more smoother now and def P2W for a lot of players since all guns and attachments have the highest differences or some goofy attachments. But I do love Unturned and Roblox (not the cringe side like RP games or def kiddy fantasy-like games or "aesthetic games" if people understand me)
It is surreal to me how a fucking MODDER can make a game work better than a TRIPLE A company. Looking at you Activision, Sledgehammer, anyone making the new call of duty’s.

funny i made this comment before the clips of p9ndas game play and Liam does game these are some of the most popular English-speaking creators so I guess its not that crazy but still cool happy what unturned is still growing and in the future I hope there are even more unturned creators.

Couple of things i'd like to note, the movement in this server is the exact same as any other server, as mods cannot change the movement system, you can get plugins or make plugins that increase the speed/jump height or decrease but, you can't overhaul the entire engine so the point of the "movement feeling cleaner" is bullshit. Mind you, the guns in the server are quite lacking as to what mod devs have been making as of recently, a new blender animation rig that allows movement of charging handles, slides on pistols, bolts on snipers available to be done. Not only that, while I can't disagree its an impressive server, it also lacks a playerbase, nobody seems to play it besides the EU server and at most i've seen about 51 people on it, maybe you making a video on it will change that but I highly doubt it, like most p9nda projects its a money grab that'll die in the next 5 months.
update, now this project doesn't exist, hope the P9nda check was worth it.

It's not said or written anywhere, but it certainly feels like one, and considering P9 has been sponsoring CZcamsrs to do reviews, seeing this and hearing it being called the first "project not done by novices" did raise an eyebrow. There are at least a bunch of custom projects of this size released by other people even years ago, like the Stalker RP / Survival mod that's so popular on Russian servers, that also has completely custom plugins like Blackout, or more recently, even the often called "Poor man's Squad in Unturned", IE the popular military pvp server "Uncreated".
Edit: in addition to this, Blackout's weapons are actually taken from a public mod, Nordic's Arsenal, which was created for the military RP server, Nordic Military RP. The only things they've got that are actually custom-made are the maps, the cosmetics and the plugins.

I guess what I was trying to say with the whole "novices" part is that this is the first mod I have ever experienced where everything was integrated seamlessly with menus and UI. The first one that doesn't feel like it is just using vanilla unturned systems in a new way, but actually creates its own systems to make the experience feel unique.
@@robokast fair enough. Their menu, UI and plugin system are indeed impressive, but I have to admit as someone with over 7000 hours on the game, that there's really nothing special outside of those three things: it honestly feels like just an upgrade to one of those creative servers where you can save your loadout in a kit and then go pvp. I can't really call it a perfect upgrade though, seeing as you have to grind to unlock stuff, but you get my point.

yes, but Roblox is a multi-billion dollar corporation that gives developers access to tons of tools to make anything they want. this wouldn't be that impressive in Roblox, but it is extremely impressive in Unturned
