- Letesenbet Gidey is already a 3x world record holder. On December 4th, the rising star from Ethiopia will make her marathon debut in Valencia. The city that has brought her two out of three world records. In this first documentary, Letesenbet (24) looks back on how her running journey began.
The NN Running Team was launched in 2017 to provide athletes with access to better coaching, medical care and additional athlete support services. Since its inception its athletes have run world records, won Marathon Majors, and claimed Olympic and world titles. Among its star athletes include; Eliud Kipchoge, Kenenisa Bekele, Joshua Cheptegei, Letesenbet Gidey, Yalemzerf Yehualaw & Geoffrey Kamworor. - Sport

I have recently become obsessed with watching all of her races. What a beautiful athlete she is- her stride is perfection. And this video shows what a beautiful person she is. The word that comes to mind is adorable. I will root for her even over athletes from my own country. What an incredible talent and human. Go Letesenbet!

What a lovely, hardworking and talented lady. When I watched Almaz Ayana destroy all in 2016 I thought I would never see a better female distance runner. Letesenbet has proven me wrong. Everything is perfect with regard to her form she is the epitome of grace in motion. Even more remarkably she has managed to keep breaking records whilst a civil war rages in the Tigray region. She hasn’t seen her family for over a year. I wish only the best for this wonderful runner

I just love watching Gidey run, she is so majestic and elegant, she has such a beautiful and economical running style, no wasted motion. What is even more astounding is that she holds the records for the 5k, the 10k and the half marathon and she is only in her early 20s.
