    Great video Remy! Would be nice to see a monthly video to see other type of expenses. Thanks for being transparent with finances. Financial wellness can affect other things so definitely huge.

    Really not bad for a week in LA! It'd be interesting to see what your overall expenses look like over a longer time, maybe over a few months. Like how much does it cost to maintain your business, average grocery costs, montly subscriptions, etc.

    I enjoyed this video! I'm a big nerd for managing my finances, and at the start of each new month I go over all of my purchases/expenses from the past month and organize them into categories such as rent&bills, groceries, eating out, "adulting" expenses (gas/insurance/cat litter haha), and miscellaneous expenses that are nonessential (entertainment/fashion/etc). It really helps me take an honest look at my spending habits and helps me figure out what I can cut back on so that I can save more money! : )

    I really appreciate you making this Remy!! I agree about Uber/Lyft. I also don’t have a car and have to take ride share or the bus to get around. People say it’s really expensive but I honestly feel its about the same as a car. BUT since the pandemic hit I noticed there aren’t a lot of drivers anymore and prices have gone WAY up so there’s that..

    Thank you for sharing something so personal! I think this is great for people thinking to move to LA or teenagers that haven’t moved out yet. Had no idea how expensive life was back then and wish someone explained that better to me. Would of changed a lot of life decisions if I realized that earlier on.

      Thank you for watching! I so agree--the value of money is something I came to learn later than I wish I had, and I feel like it would be so beneficial if money managing, budgeting etc. was covered in school! The mindset we have about money also impacts so much

    I hate talking about money and I always feel super uncomfortable with it even around my family so I appreciate this video so so much Remy! I am very grateful for you normalizing this topic and showing us that we really don't have to feel ashamed about what we spend our money on.
    Also, I would spend the extra money on food any day as compared to material objects but where I go really crazy is anything for my closest friends or family - I am literally the worst at saying no to pleasing others :D
    Anyways, thanks a lot for sharing this with us!
    Have a great rest of the week!

    I really enjoyed your video! Thanks for being so transparent about what you spend - it IS hard to talk about! I always have hesitancy when talking about money with friends.
    I too make matcha lattes daily AND find that they taste better made by me lol vs the shops around me which are mostly coffee-focused (living in NJ) and lattes are much more expensive. The most I've spent on a matcha latte is prob $7. Never again unless I'm desperate lol

    People need to normalize financial talk. Not for the intention to know what someone else is earning, but to get a clear view of self expenses and on what should/shouldn’t be invested on.

    Wow my spending can range between $500 in a week. I spend $400-$500 on groceries, household essentials and pet food every 2 weeks. I take $25 Uber’s to work at least 5x a week. And if I do a 16 hr shift I might spend $20-$30 on food delivery. And that’s not including bills. I’m so surprised that yours was not more expensive since you live in LA.

    • @Veggiekins
      @Veggiekins  Před 2 lety +1

      It totally depends on the week, I agree! Cause I didn't buy any groceries or have to restock essentials much this week, but for work I stay home so that saves me a TON!
