You said that tire is a set of four but it is the only one on the rs1. None the less looks like a nice product.
Simple really, they are doing it ON a machine so as to fully demonstrate the procedure. I imagine the RS1 was already in the shop (heh, its a Polaris) so they grabbed a tire with a known flat, that fit on the RS1, and used it as an example.
Most of my flats don't happen in the shop and it's a pain to carry my floor Jack out on the trails but I like the idea of pre protection.
Hi Rick - thanks for checking out the video! No jack required for the install - They used a jack in the video to show the rotation in place. To install simply remove the valve core, inject through the valve stem, thread valve core back in, air up and then immediately go for a drive. But, as you noted you can avoid all of that on the trail by going the preventative route and pre-installing.

I finally have got. Homehardware. Black n Decker. Pecker rekcer... Maintainers. I finally was told to get a maintainer. And i had gotten a battery charger starter. I was no u need a battery tender. For your Quads. Its kool plung and leave. And it can be pluged in with the wires. Added and u can just plug tender any time. And battery plug. Its nice. My quads have cigar liter plug in them..female end. My tender is the mail. Very good for AGM batterys
The best way to fix a fat tire is a tire plug set...hands down. Less time, reliable, no stickey mess. Plug it, pump it up, ride. End of story...
One thing to keep in mind is that plugs do dry out and leak over time, TireJect is 100% compatible with plugs and can be used together. We fix faulty plugs all the time with TireJect and we also use plugs all the time for larger punctures and add TireJect to make sure we get a good seal. Plugs definitely still have a place and we recommend keeping them on hand as well. Also, if you pre-install TireJect you will proactively prevent flats and stop any down time that would be required to install a plug. If you ride in an area with lots of thorns this is a huge benefit.
@@Tireject Yes, in combination is the best, but I use plugs to get out of the middle of nowhere, even on my truck. That and a compressor and you can go anywhere in confidence...
cr500blur this stuff lets you keep going without stopping in my case I’ve had punctured in my side by side tires and never knew till I returned back to camp. That means I never let the tire get to low with air at high speeds before realizing it was almost flat. Does it mean that I stopped carrying air and plugs no but I sure haven’t had to use em yet. This stuff works and it sounded to good to be true but it’s saved me a one particular time when I was alone for a short rocky ride and came up with a gnarly sidewall gash and this stuff saved me from having to hoof it back to camp. To many instances I’ve used this stuff for my buddies flats onsite and they looked at me like I was nuts but after they finished off their weekend on the repaired tire they were sold. Good stuff if your smart enough to use it.
We used a plug last year on a Colorado trip on a Razor and it took 5 minutes to repair with a plug. The next day we saw the same 4-seater in Silverton with the plug still sticking out of the tire for another renter. To me it's how long it takes to do the job....

if it is water soluble, what happens when you ride through the water after using it to make a repair?
Hey Nick, great question - TireJect is water soluble while in liquid form only. When you get a puncture the sealant is exposed to air and it will cure with the rubber for a permanent seal that is not affected by water, mud, etc...
Will it push out Tire plugs like the competition?
NICE! I find a regular tire plug with some sealant works best!
What is the shelf life of this product? When I say "shelf life" I mean in my rzr glove box in the heat of the day or the freezing temps?
As long as you keep it out of direct sunlight it will last 5+ years in the package without an issue

I bet Stans tubeless bicycle tire sealant would work just as good or better.

Plug it into an automatic battery maintainer like a 'battery Tender' or 'Optimate' or some other known battery maintainer brand. The charge rate in printed on your battery, a trickle charger is uaually too much at 2 Ah charge rate and you may damage the battery. It's also important to realize that a battery maintainer is different then a trickle charger. A trickle charger is nowhere near as sophisticated as a battery maintainer and you will get much longer battery life using a battery maintainer. The AGM battery for my atv was over $200. I have 3 different devices plugged into my recreational and power equipment depending on what was on sale. I'd recommend the Battery Tender Plus with 1.25 Ah charge rate for bringing that battery up quicker after a day of winching unless you have smaller equipment batteries you would also like to maintain with the same device. In that case, the Battery Tender Junior will work fine for all your equipment.

@@canadaplace2be176 A battery maintainer should not have a boost function. That sounds like a smart charger and would not likely have a low enough setting for most power sports batteries. Conventional power sports batteries need to be maintained during winter or prolonged periods of storage. They begin to loose power after 30 days. AGM batteries are better but still need to be maintained.
Well my can ams been sitting since. October 2018. And fired up like nothing. There a glass battery. Not gel. Or agm. And the maintainer i got. Can charge to. Its the black and decare. Charger maintainer. So i just need. A maintainer. I thought so. Its hard to get one with out charger.. Stanley has on. Just maintainer. No charger. Has a hook to hang. And battery maintainer has a hook to. And a litter male version. I did not get one. Thank u for comment..

Now, if they could just show some type of abundant air supply that you could take along with you. Does anyone have a recommendation for a great 12 volt pump because those little guys you get at the auto parts stores are garbage and I find myself using five or six CO2 cartridges just to get the ATV tire inflated. Maybe a long narrow compressed air cylinder similar to a SCUBA tank or fire extinguisher.
Viair. Make a great pump that is designed for the RV industry think 100 plus PSI and you pay for quality. Currently we have a harbor freight #69285 12 v compressor that is cheap junk but it works and I don't feel bad when i loan it out and my buddy forgets to give it back.
No air needed on the trail if you pre-install TireJect you get flat prevention for 12-18 months, also we do have large 60g co2 cartridges for trail side: www.tireject.com/collections/all/products/automotive-emergency-flat-tire-repair-kit we like these because its instant air pressure and will inflate a tire in under 30 seconds and pretty compact. 1 of the cartridges will inflate a 26x8, a larger tire would need both cartridges.

I would by another tire bro. Hell most of my can am stores would give me another tire. Plus we all should ride with one. Like can am. Has a carryer u can by for 500 bucks. Ouch. But a flat. Is wores off.

I would have used a paper plate to pour it out on to. This UTV is so big just carry a spare wheel? I never got the UTV large off road vehicle market many trails in Montana are restricted to 50 inches so the are for ATV. I just wave and say good bye to the UTS behind me. Get a dirt bike for single track trails.
Do you have any good map sources for Montana? My in-laws just bought a place near West Yellowstone and I'm always looking for 50 inch trails. I currently use avenza maps app for national forest.
Not very friendly for doing a fix out on the trail.
