Genuine CCCA classic car. Only 350 made. Edsel Ford had a Zephyr customized to use at his Florida home. It was lowered, lengthened, and given a rear mounted spare. It turned out so well they decided to put the car into production and the first Continental was born! This car won the First Place Concourse Award at the 2013 Lake Tahoe Early Ford show. In 2016 it was awarded the Best Primary Division Award at the Western National Meet of the Lincoln Continental Owner's group. This is one of 25 cars we purchased from the Claude O. estate. He had a full-time mechanic maintaining his cars because he wanted to be able to drive any car at any time.
EXTERIOR: Stunning fit and finish. Ford lengthened the hood and fenders 8 inches, the body was sectioned lowering it 4 inches, the trunk was redesigned to work smoothly with the rear mounted spare. The body is amazing, absolutely laser beam straight. I don't see any rust bubbles, damage, or poor body work. The black paint is literally polished like a mirror. Upfront the chrome is sparkling. Unique rainfall grill, a twist of the hood ornament opens the hood. The mirrors and door handles look like new. In back the taillights and bumper are mint. The Continentals have a filler panel between the bumper and body. The convertible top is a rick black canvas with red piping and has a matching boot. Big whitewall tires frame a set of restored wheels.
INTERIOR: Very luxurious. It's wall to wall glove soft leather. Not only are the seats leather but so are the door panels and even the visors. This top of the line Lincoln uses gold trim on the interior in place of chrome. It has premium grade carpet on the floor that goes all the way up the firewall. The instruments look fantastic. The red plastic knobs are in excellent shape. The red plastic steering wheel is NOS without a mark on it. It has an optional radio. First year the shifter was moved to the column from the floor. They promoted it as the "Finger Tip Shifter".
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Smooth running 292 ci -120 hp V-12 has aluminum heads and intake. It is obviously a restored engine compartment. It was taken apart, not just spray canned. It is authentic down to the details. Reproduction Ford hoses and clamps. Reproduction Zephyr battery properly secured and has a disconnect switch. The horns sound like a train! Ask your friends where to check the oil. There is no dipstick, it has a float on top of the intake with a gauge. It has Evans coolant in the radiator, do not add water.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is correctly lined with the square loop carpet with bound edges. New well liner too. It also includes a restored jack and a pouch of tools.
UNDERSIDE: The brake system was restored at time of restoration- hoses were replaced, e-brake cable is hooked up. It has a stainless steel exhaust system. Upgraded with an electric fuel pump to prevent vapor lock which is common. The front end steering and suspension components look clean. Bottom of the motor looks clean; it does have a drip tray. 3-speed manual transmission. Optional 2-speed Columbia rear end.
This is a substantial collector car. Impressive design, interesting history and extremely rare. Restoration would far exceed what we are selling it for. A couple thousand dollars in extras are included- pair of heads, rebuilt distributor, air cleaner, literature and more.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

No where to go but up.
Where are the directional signals on this one?
I believe those slots on the top of the headlight bezels are the turn signals. You have to look really close to notice them.
Anyone know what this sold for? Thanks
I'm always thinking that someday you may misjudge when pulling out these amazing cars and hitting the driver side front fender, or maybe getting away from you when you hit the gas going around the corner!
Not my cup of tea but a beautiful Lincoln. I'm a bigger fan of the late 50's early 60's Lincolns.
This, the 1961 Lincoln Continental and the 1969-71 Mark III are the most beautiful cars Lincoln ever made.
OMG WOW🤣🤣🤣
Not very many close ups would lot to see a lot more?
Close ups of what?

As Boas Novas da Palavra de Deus para vocês
"Porque Deus amou o mundo de tal maneira que deu o seu Filho unigênito, para que todo aquele que nele crê não pereça, mas tenha a vida eterna.
Quem crê no Filho tem a vida eterna;
( João, 3:16,36 )
"Respondeu-lhe Jesus: Eu sou o caminho, e a verdade, e a vida; ninguém vem ao Pai, senão por mim."
( João, 14:6 )
"Porque, se com a tua boca confessares a Jesus como Senhor, e em teu coração creres que Deus o ressuscitou dentre os mortos, será salvo;
