World Water Day (22 March 2024) - Reminder about using water wisely

In conjunction with the World Water Day on March 22, we are conducting survey/interviews with both the public and experts to explore strategies for minimizing our daily water consumption to ensure a sustainable future.
Word Water Day is an annual United Nations observance day since 1993. The day highlights the importance of fresh water and is used to advocate for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
On average, each Malaysian will use 219 litres of water daily. This figure is 30% more than what recommended by the United Nations (UN), i.e., 165 litres per person per day.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), we only need 50-100 litres of water daily to meet most of the basic needs.
