  • I attempted to go to Bangladesh to work with a charity to raise money for people who are desperate need for help. Unexpectedly, me, ‪@harryjaggardtravel‬ and ‪@Danygotaworldtosee‬ got refused entry and got deported from the country!
Unfortunately, the real loser of the situation was the charity and the people we intended to help out. Let's turn a bad situation into a good, please help by donating To Human Appeal

So sad, i was really looking forward to your vlogs in Bangladesh, as I know very little about the country. HOWEVER, it's your responsibility to be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that you are eligible for a visa on arrival. You yourself said that 50% of the people /sources you inquired about said that VOA was not an issue. So that means that 50% also informed you the system was not available. Me, just spending 5 minutes on my phone it seems clear the VOA system has been suspended due to covid. Very clear, actually.
Having said that, Emirates also has responsibility to be sure that your paperwork was complete. They certainly dropped the ball here. But it's not all their fault. Just my opinion, as a loyal viewer and subscriber. Cheers.

It’s unfortunate that it happened to these guys who seem very poised. Bangladesh does not have reciprocity with those nation’s passport. Western people think they can do whatever in historically undeveloped countries but it’s not the same anymore. For example, I have US passport thus I qualify for on arrival visa to Uk. But UK agency can refuse it anytime without giving a satisfactory explanation.

Its a known requirement to apply for a visa beforehand and it shouldve been done way before your planned itinerary. Research and follow the countries' rules and respect them. I dont like youtubers who thinks they can get away with things because they were not prepared beforehand for the sake of their content. The unfortunate thing is that if just 1% of the population of India is radical and violent that is still 10 million people! So you see, majority of Indians want to live in peace. After the tea seller, Modi, things have changed drastically in India. And not for the better.. And for whatever reason he does not care for minorities and his wife. @@KhalidNov16 just an input. Travelers can't question the decision of the Immigration officer of the country where one arrives. Just like my very 1st time visit to the US in 1999, I was younger then, so many questions as if I was back before the American Consulate officer applying for a visa. I thought it was enough I had the visa stamped on my passport valid for multiple-entry, 10 years given to me. But I answered well all questions & the Immigration officer was satisfied that he stamped "Arrived to stay til xxx" and even told me "Welcome to the United States of America". Some questions asked: why did I come to the US; until when will I stay (I memorized how many days & date of departure); where will I stay (memorized my bro's address & home telephone number). Had I looked blank & still rummaged in my handbag for the answers, denotes I was not aware, I could have been sent back. It was because of my age, many came there to marry an American guy (but for convenience only to get green card & work) but divorce eventually. A similar Immigration incident happened with 3 daughters of my officemate. She & her husband went ahead & the 3 daughters followed ages 17, 14 & 11. They were sent back for failure to answer well the questions of the Immigration officer so when that reached my officemate when the kids were back, she & her husband just returned back too. What did the Immigration officer found out so the 3 girls were denied entry? Because they could be a family who would eventually overstay and live there since no one is left anymore here in our country. That is our thinking because the reason was never revealed by the Immigration officer.

I am just stating what I have seen. I honestly thought Bangladesh was a rich place because a few people I met showed me pictures of themselves in Bangladesh. But the pictures of themselves were taken in the only posh areas inside. I realize now why they never took out pictures of themselves outside. Another person from Africa, I think it was from Ghana, and she felt the people were very racist to her. She said the Bangladeshi people are only good to people with White skin. That they love White skin people only. Those were her words. The Romania couple were very smart. They have a lot of subscribers from Bangladesh to help pay for a free trip around the world. They let their White skin work for them. Very, very smart people. I bet they said that Bangladesh was heaven on earth so that you all could eat it all up. They sure fooled a lot of people. Knowing how smart White people are, I bet they couldn't wait to take a long shower after but they didn't say that for their subscribers as they needed them to continue to pay for their trip around the world.
