- Just a quick update after 10 days of running the trident upflow Nexus upgrade. Answering a few questions and what’s next.

Great review Dave have been thinking of updating my eazypod to a nexus when I revamp my pond later this year.
Good follow up. Been using a beer filter in the eazypod for almost a year. So interested to hear about what's coming for it. Willing to try.
I wouldn't put Hel-x13 in the eazy. It won't trap enough. Micro traps more, but Hel-x13 is definitely the best media for biological.
Thanks for update, so mine arrived yesterday as you know, set it up yesterday and had to boil twice yesterday and twice today.. but fines in pond have dropped noticeably . I'm really pleased with the results after basically 36 hours.hoping that I can go to 1 clean tomorrow and then start getting back to 2 a week. But for sure the water clarity improved.
You’ll soon be back to normal - just goes to show what was in that water. Enjoy it 👍🏼

received my trident for my 310 super quick, ordered in the middle of the night after reading a bit, turned up 2 days later, so brilliant service, water clarity seems much better already after 5 days!

Dave I think that the K1 micro media would pack tighter together than the hellex media, which would catch more fines. Nice update though 👌 👍🏼

Hi Dave, I have just fitted a nexus auto 320+, I removed an old bead filter as I needed more bio. I knew it wouldn’t be as good as bead for mechanical but I am disappointed, I can’t even see the bottom where the sturgeon are. Can I ask did you increase the k1 micro volume in your old easy? It only comes with 20 litres I think. I didn’t want to have to pay out more after only just buying the nexus but I think this might be a must.

I have watched your last two videos on the trident and I am considering buying one the only worry I have I normally clean my nexus out every day but when we go on holiday for a week the nexus does cope without being cleaned do you think that the trident in your opinion would go a week without clogging up

After a year hows it going, I get quite a bit of muck in my 320 , im worried about the flow rate if just coming from the bottom
