Had a kindle paperwhite after I learned about Kobo sent kindle back and couldn't be happier definitely enjoying my clare 2E
Are you still enjoying it? Have u had any problems?

I think the winner here is the Kobo. For $129 it looks an awful lot like a slightly more portable Paperwhite rather than an entry level e-reader. Kobo would have a collection of home runs on their hands if they could get that UI sorted out and eliminate some of the quirks like the delay when changing screen brightness and the lack of live scrolling.
Well yes it's priced the same as the paperwhite so of course that is what it's competing with. It's not entry level, that would be the kobo Nia.
I had a kindle before then a kobo. I sold my kindle. I will never go back to kindle after experiencing using kobo and its UI. Add nickelmenu and some customizations and its almost perfect
Have been trying to decide between the kindle paper white and basic, I like the size design of the basic but want the waterproofing and warm light of the paperwhite, looks like the kobo has everything I need :)
Just to clarify. Kobo Clara 2E does not have screen rotation? Thanks. I've checked on internet and they said it has. Iam confused.

I absolutely hate the new kindle firmware that installed itself without any way to block or refuse it. Because of that I am so pissed that I got a Kobo Clare 2h now and will never go back

If I already have books on Kindle, would I be able to transfer them to Kobo? If not Amazon has me shackled down lol.

Honestly, I still prefer to use the Kindle Voyage over both of these.

Why do you keep swapping the position of the two readers? that makes it all really confusing...
it's because he says the camera favours the device on the right hand side, so he swaps them so it's not always the same one favoured by the camera. That said, I can't see the difference myself.
