Yes. Elenda is a force in Markov decks. There's no good answer to the problem she presents. I kinda wish there was a pure black version of her. I have a very sadistic deck that would love something like her.
If your running elenda try bhals altar such a bs combo elenda dies or gets sacked creating a token or more then use altar to exile one of those tokebs to put elenda back on the field from graveyard
@@davidgee9339 i dont think that card is in arena but my combo with elenda is font of agonies and phyrexian reclamation, so if elenda dies, i pay 2 mana, 2 life to bring her back, put 2 counters on font of agonies as a result and if i have 4 counters on font i can sack a creature on the field. which makes it good to clear big creatures

Another commander thats is equally dangerous to deal with is "Syr Konrad, the Grim". Basically anytime a creature goes into any graveyard in any way, or comes out of your graveyard you deal 1 dmg to each opponent. It doesn't stop there though cause you can make everyone mill a card for 1 and a black with no limit to how many times you can use it.
@@maldhound In brawl, I always plan to face the most annoying commanders and then either never let them hit the field or negate their abilities. If you're running blue, always keep some stuff like Stasis Field as an option. Never know when a Liesa, Ghalma, or Elesh Norn will hit the field
I love vampires, but had the misfortune of going against somebody's like, $1,000 elenda deck in a pod with my adventures deck and two brothers played budget arcades and budget krenko. When Elenda guy opened up with a turn 1 mana crypt and spent the next two turns tutoring for his combo pieces, I knew we were not in for a good time.
I have a copy lying around somewhere that I was debating to add into ny Orzhov Life Drain deck. Dont think I did, meaning she’d currently packed away SOMEWHERE, as I put all my cards that aren’t in decks into the storage bixes from Bundles and started packing those into totes since I was wanting to look into moving out soon
I built her as an artifact Voltron deck. Grafting a colossus hammer onto her then swinging in and daring my opponents to remove her is great! Then the tokens can be sacrificed to ashnods altar to pay for commander tax
Not me with Elenda at 20+ counters equipped with Sword of Vengeance with a Cathar's Crusade in play quietly muttering "I want you to do it, wrath me. Wrath me!" Like The Joker in The Dark Knight at the Zurgo Helmsmasher boardwipe tribal voltron deck. 😂😂
That is, until you find out that they're also playing Aether Snap and Vampire Hexmage to deal with planeswalkers, and Elenda gets caught in the crossfire. 😅

The funny thing is When you use Nim-death Mantle You can make her spiral out of control Basically making her sack and stack your army up exponentially because it doesn't specify non-token. Making infinite mana and infinite tokens simply with a two card combo easily assemble because you are in the two best colors to tutor your 2 CARD COMBO BY TURN 2 OR 3
This sounds like a perfect compliment to my sacrifice deck. "Running creatures through a woodchipper" Edit: My deck was originally focused on creating 2/2 zombies with decayed (based on MID being my first set as I got into Magic recently and was working with what I got) and just sacrificing them after doing some damage. Still keeping that idea cuz it's my first deck but yeah, I have a few more cards to support a few different approaches. (Dreadhound, the Meathook Massacere, Gisa, Glorious Resurrector, Fleshtaker)

In Response I'll sacrifice a few creatures for mana and then sacrifice her and get a bunch of life link vamps along with mana to cast more spells.

Elenda, without a doubt, is one of the Top 10 MTG waifus. She was a nun who could kick ass, then a vampire, and then both. She can TOTALLY get it.

I saw this card once in Historic Brawl and immediately felt justified in running more than 10 counterspells and at least 5 bounces.
