Strange movie, but good. Doesn't seem to have very much in common with the description but. It's a good watch if you like strange movies.

Great. It achieves everything the horror movie it's supposed to
I'm not sure what the hell this was about. The sound wasn't the best, so I may have missed a few key points. It was somehow intriguing, so I kept watching, thinking it would all come together, but it didn't.
What a wonderful, mysterious, interesting, unexpected film. Subverts all the usual tropes and leads you down paths you could not predict. Love how we do not know where this village is or what war they refer to or even what that accent is. I wasn't bored! Which is an achievement because so many films are tediously predictable and cliche-ed these days. If you want a film that is like all the others, you won't appreciate this one. It forces you to think. It is open to interpretation. If you find thinking uncomfortable you'd better watch something else :D

If you had ever been to Finland you would know the forests have as many white barked birch trees as pines. It's very striking. This was filmed entirely in Wales, UK
