Tecnam has enjoyed brisk sales with its new Astore LSA. AVweb's Paul Bertorelli recently took the airplane for a flight trial and shot this detailed video report.
You can’t really compare this aircraft to a bonanza because the bonanza is 80kts faster and can carry far more. When I heard that comparison I sort of shook my head like what the hell is he talking about???
I know this is an older post, but having flown both this and the other premium low wing LSA, Bristell, did you see any differences in handling (particularly landing and flap effectiveness), build quality, etc.? And thanks for all the great reviews you do.
$210,000 for an LSA with Rotax engine? That’s crazy. Way too pricey. You can get a nice new Cub crafter or a used Bonanza in great shape for that price.
Just for your info, you can't do always this work with shoulder harnesses on. See that camera in back? Can't reach it. There's another one back there you can't see. Ride with me sometime and I'll show ya...
Seatbelts are only needed on takeoff and landing... The pilot only needs the lap belt on during cruise. You gatta wonder if people actually read the regulations.
Lovely airplane. I'm big on nice interiors and Tecnam does a superb job on that with the Astore. Although I think it's a bit a pricey for an LSA.

Well yah, it's a hot seller - because it is a beautiful little aircraft. Love it, want one.

very nice plane, what is the BEW for the aircraft shown ?
what is a typical BEW for the Astore with a skyview? Can't seem to find that info online
Do you mean Basic Empty Weight? I noticed the Empty Weight is around 827 lbs.

Good luck.
Dirty Blond Four cylinder Ferrari of flight.

No seatbelt in flight? Not a good idea. Nice plane, though
