    I didn't think you had a 120knots speed limit in USA. Although the plane doesn't go much faster anyway. Maybe it's a bit heavier than fiber planes. VL3 goes a fair bit faster and as much as twice the range. Of course retractable gear also makes a difference. Minor detail :)

      Hopefully that will change when FAA changes the rules for light sport in the next few years

      It’s only 120 kts at sea level. If true airspeed is greater at high altitudes, it’s acceptable.

      @@GeneralSirDouglasMcA The limit is indicated airspeed. That remains, regardless the altitude.
