Welcome to the Queendom. Enjoy 200 songs of the Queen catalog. 97.8% of all Queen is better live than the studio version. It’s the power they put in the concert. Invest 22 minutes and listen to the best concert ever recorded, Live Aide.

Fun fact, the Band's Engineer snuck up to the Main Board & turned up the volume on the P.A., Freddie was fighting a cold & wasn't keen on performing " Live-Aid" until Bob Geldof castigated, berated, verbally went up the front & went down the back of Freddie, the results speak for themselves 😊❤❤

300 songs in Queen catalogue. Huge rabbit hole.No one genre by Queen always different.

Four fantastic musicians at the peak of their powers - all totally in the zone! Such a tight band - no autotune, earpieces, lasers, etc., just talent and musicality. They could not replicate the layered harmonies which feature so strongly on this song's studio version and didn't use backing tracks when live. So this stage version is arranged quite differently. Freddie wanted things to be fresh for live audiences and always changed things a bit with every performance. He never sang the same song the same way twice.

Epic, brilliant, amazing, wonderful & more. Shout out to Roger Taylor's drumming and vocals. Don't know of a band that can beat Queen. Freddie plays the audience like an instrument as always ❤❤❤❤

Thanks, Roc! You have stumbled onto one of their most iconic live performances ... Freddie was amazing as always, but this is a whole BAND.. everyone was fantastic! Hope you do more... (especially from this concert..the film crew actually asked the crowd not to react, and the band to wear the same clothes over the two days of filming.. and this is now recently released in IMAX.. of course, Freddie was having none of that, and got the crowd going, and even changed into "short shorts" for some of the subsequent songs... classic Queen...lol)

Queen live songs never mirrored their studio recordings.
If you want to review Freddie’s vocals then watch ‘Live from Wembley’ In The Lap of The
Gods / Seven Seas of Rye.
The best band performance is undoubtedly ‘Hammer To Fall’ at Live Aid.
Best crowd control is We Will Rock You @ Live Aid.

Live Aid 1985-a must see. White Queen live, Save Me Live, Love of My Life live Wembley, You Take My Breath away live 1976 Hyde Park…oh, the list goes on. You’ll never be disappointed, live or studio.. What a legacy they left behind, 20 years of super talented multi-dimensional genius musicians making great music and pushing the envelope. And boy , Freddie…there’ll never be another phenomenon like him. RIP.

I was fortunate to see Queen during this tour at the Baltimore Civic Center in August of 1980. I was 18 at the time and it's still a concert I vividly remember to this day. Freddie owned the crowd from the moment he stepped on the stage.

My favorite Queen song as it was rumored to be Freddie’s! He felt that Somebody To Love was a better written composition than Bohemian Rhapsody! Freddie was inspired by his love for Aretha Franklin, hoping one day she would sing one of his songs! If you like this performance, I recommend the version at Milton Keynes 1982 along with FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS, after all, “they make the rockin’ world go round”. 🔥🔥

This is epically better than the studio recording! Masterful! The studio version is a huge disappointment after hearing this version. Go back and compare the two. This one is hands down stronger and better!

Freddie Mercury's warm up was better than anything the little twiddle bugs have auto tuned in the last 20 years.
If we want to save Music from the AI generated mediocrity it is descending into, we need to go back to LIVE performances, . . . not lip synching to an auto tuned studio track.
