I just looked through your playlist and noticed what you reviewed is very similar to a lot of young reactor's playlist. Basically, a lot of stuff this 61 y.o. white dude has never heard of. Now periodically I'll listen to some Korean group that I've never heard of, or Emenem (sp.?) or somebody doing a cover of some song I might know but not by that artist, and I gotta say, do you know what you're missing in the world of rock? If you're not yet familiar with the music, try some 90s Nu Metal, which combines rap and rock together (might make the transition easier). But during the 90s you also had Alternative Rock and Grunge--amongst many other genres. It really was an incredible era of music. And at 61, I had already been through some of the greatest bands of the 70s, including everything from Led Zeppelin to punk and New Wave of the 80s. All great stuff, but somehow it was taken up a notch and with new sounds while still adhering to the tenets of rock music. If you haven't already and decide to give the 90s stuff a chance, here are some suggestions from the Nu Metal genre: Limp Bizkit (Break Stuff, Nookie, Rollin'--don't expect any mineshaft lyrics, it's just for a good time, and a great time I expect you'll have). Rage Against the Machine (Killing in the Name, Bulls on Parade--way too political for me, but still great music). Disturbed (Down With the Sickness, Stupify--If you decide to listen to Down With the Sickness, make sure it's the official music video. Some of the lyrics only versions include some stuff that totally takes away from the vibe). Rob Zombie (Dragula--under the name Rob Zombie, and More Human Than Human--under White Zombie--okay he started out with White Zombie in the mid-80s but was doing stuff that may have portended the coming of Nu Metal). Kid Rock (Bawitdaba--not so frequently reacted to but one of the greatest bangers of all time.) Marilyn Manson (Dope Show, The Beautiful People--okay, this one diverges into what was called Shock Rock and the videos are both disturbing and highly artistic. They're a feast for the eyes before they become a feast on your eyes. But absolutely great music, even if you gotta look away). Oh, and for all of these, remember to turn the volume up as high as you can stand it (and just be sure you've got your sound system set up for high volume for your listeners. Head bangers love volume and since our hearing died long ago, we can use the amperage.) Believe me, listen to this and you will become the man your father never thought he'd have. Soaring testosterone will burn your blood vessels and the next thing you'll do is snap a chin strap on that tin foil hat you've got and run headlong into the wall. Pharma has nothing to compete with in terms of what Mother Nature already has in store for you.

I love the way in the third verse of "Let me sleep on it" that he really starts trying to "sell it." Also, the music you hear just before the baseball analogy is the soundtrack to just about every p*rno video of the 1970s. Don't think young people realize that.

On Meat's concept album "Hang cool Teddy Bear" from 2010 he and Jack Black actually did a duet together. The title of the song is "Like a rose". Meat also played the role of Jack's father in the film "Tenacious D - The pick of destiny". He sang the song "Kickapoo".

seen a few reactors and casual listeners stop the song before the end or just be confused by the ending, it feels like a reward for the fans and the people that are invested in this story and how it ends.

That's a baritone ukulele. It's tuned just like a guitar though, minus 2 strings.

It's the biggest uke there is. (a baritone ukulele I think) I guess Nico was dead. They start the world tour in August. Tyler & Jenna just had a baby in April, Tommy (they have now three kids).

yeah, the message and lyrics of this song definitely give self titled vibes. tyler has proved many times he's not afraid of heights, wonder how josh felt about some of these shots, they just keep getting higher.

As most doors are white, when he says “some doors have stay out spray painted in white” I think that’s him saying the warning is there/he knows he shouldn’t revisit those memories but he can’t see the “stay out” and goes through the door to the bad memories anyway.

one of my favs on the album - think this will continually grow as a fan favorite

tyou can hear tyler chanting 'Ro, Ro Ro' in the background after the line about watching Rosie's first dance recital. this one makes me emotional because of how proud I am of tyler pushing through his mental health struggles and how proud I am of myself for pushing through and thinking about my future and how far i still want to go.

And the bass player is wandering around like he is looking for paint at the Home Depot.

This song to me is a lot about Tyler feeling like he's really grown up now. When you're younger I think problems you see day to day (even small things) can seem really big (so some of the stuff he probably struggled with and wrote about as he was younger). Now as he's grown and had kids, as you say at the end of the video, he has started to realize you just push on through. Problems will come and go, but you will also have the good moments (like seeing your kid at their first dance recital) and you learn how to deal with both the tragedy and the love you will experience.
