Good tutorial. It's the same for the Hyundai Atos Prime with motor G4HC, I've changed all the kit yesterday, the same timing belt kit of the video.

Excellent video but I would love to see it accomplished with engine installed in the automobile. I cannot take my engine out and place it on a stand.

With the engine mounted in the car, you have to remove two or three accesories belts, depending if your car have AC or not. The steering pump, the alternator and the AC compressor have their own tensioners. After this, you need an impact tool yo remove the central screw of the crankshaft and the four screws of 10 that are on the pulley of the crankshaft. You have to remove the four screws of the Water pump pulley and remove it and then you can remove the timing belt cover.

Good evening. Can anyone tell me what the water pipe connections are for on each side of the Kia Picanto throttle body? One of the elbows has corroded and has lost integrity (leaking). Can I remove these elbows or bypass the the throttle body by bridging the pipes connections with a section of pipe?

🆘 Pretty good info vídeo, I have 2009 Picanto LX 4 cylinder, I already checked the web finding overhaul repair kit with no success, where or how should I look for it ⁉️🤔.
Just wondering if they share same engine with Kia Rio which is easier to find.
I'll appreciate your time and help.

Hi, I have the same Picanto 2005, there is a leak near Timing belt after head gasket repair. I can't see the exact place but leaking a lot. Some said it can be from the Crankshaft Oil Seal or Camshaft Oil Seal. Thought of replace both the oil seals, which one is the Cranshaft and which one is the Camshaft?

Hi Irosh, the lower shaft is the crankshaft and the upper is the camshaft. If you are still unsure, why don't you get help at the nearest garage.
      Best Regards

@@ContinentalAftermarket thanks a lot, found them. Yesterday I have noticed a damage near the Dipstick pipe hole which is fixing the dipstick to the engine. I took the dipstick pipe out and removed the right front wheel to see from where oil is leaking. Noticed a lot of oil near the belts, oil pan, dipstick. Suddenly noticed the damage, a piece of metal is not there from the engine where the dipstick tube is fixing, the mechanic who did the head-gaseket repair might has damaged it. There is a huge leak, 1 ltr of oil leaks in 3 days. Initially I thought from the Crankshaft and/or camshaft Oil Seals. I put some hard metal fixing gum (use for radiator leaks) to close the hole as I didn't have Gasket Maker, will see...

Hi Marin vremes, unfortunately I can't find an engine from 2010 with 1.1 l and 65Kw. To answer your question, I need the detailed data of your car. I would suggest to have a look in our Product information Center PIC. You can fill in your vehicle data and will find all related products and technical instructions: www.continental-ep.com/pic
