Some kid at True Hockey in San Jose was telling the employee how he had broken 4 of his true sticks already this year. The dad and son seemed happy to keep buying them. Must be some badge of honor for some that they can afford to keep breaking them and buying new ones.
I picked up a a tc9? A while back cause they were on sale, broke in a couple of weeks of old timers hockey, no clappers at all with that stick, no hard digging in corners, or in front, etc... broke. Never getting a true stick again
In my area , some indepandant store have totally stop selling True gear, to much problems with them and in a big box hockey store even the saleman don't recommend true stick even if the store had more profit share on the True product.
The rattling means it's broken? Ive had that happen with sticks and you just pop the end cap off and there ia usally just a tiny piece that chipped off inside you can dump out.
@@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews i thought that you did the top of the line vs the bottom of the line? I was saying top of the line vs the one that is right below
@@BlingBrickStudios yes correct, remember I finance this myself so always come down to money and what’s on the market at the time vs views etc. I do my best :)
Picked up a 7x3 as well and noticed how bad the weave was at the lower shaft hosel area. Mine literally has a bump of excess material. That being said they shoot like nothing else. My px has held up great besides a thousand chips and nicks and Im a center so it gets beat. I think you just have terrible luck with the trues
@@beerleaguebumhockeyreviewsI'd stop being skeptical. Get a pair of pro customs and don't look back. Have had mine for about 7mnths play easily 3 times a week and I wouldn't be in any other skate. Taken plenty of pucks to the skates no issues.
I tried the tf9 skate und it started hurting even Not tightend The laces. Maybe they changed but These were the worst Skates i tried on. Bought vapor 2x pros instead and they feel like a Sofa
I think they hide skittles inside the stick, thats why its rattling
Makes sense

Yeah what an absolute waste and way to really show the company to change their ways.
You are so bang on! Well done
Thanks I try to be
this Fr tho cuz my friend had a hazardous black and it’s blade was cracked after one oracrice
Yep that’s true sticks for you

Yep that’s a common theme

Good because the stores get screwed with garbage product and the customer even more
It's not broken. it's a piece of excess glue from the mold. Take the end cap off and dump it out. It'll look like ashark tooth. Stick is fine.
Lol blades cracked doesn’t shoot glue holds stick together
yes, i have the same in my agent

It’s from the blade that’s broken that’s why I smacked it. Flexes now so it’s toast
Can you do a video of top of the line stick vs the 2nd price point? For example ft6 pro vs ft6
At some point. I did one on the trigger awhile back. Difference was weight and the overall feel was much more laboured.

The way they are put together looks a awful maybe this will change as they make more mfg can change but for now it’s not good
@@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews agreed. Ill be doing a review soon on my hockey channel, Ill be sure to point it out and give you a tag!

True only makes solid skates
Couple guys on my network had cracking composite boots on their skates too. I’ve never ran true skates but I’m skeptical

@Mike_Jones68 that’s good to hear next skate purchase I’ll have to try em on see what I think

Are you able to get your money back, or will they just replace it under warranty?
I asked for a different stick as this was the third one that broke and they allowed it!
Thats why you buy team sticks from CCM and Warrior. They have good perfomance and they last.
Fair
@@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews Cant wait to see the review on the LX2 Pro !
@@AnatolyVll soonish!
Not warrior
@@Mike_Jones68 why
Just stick with the Trigger Pro 7, Timmy
Apparently the catalyst is the best stick ever from
What I here over at the hockey tutorships
Buddys outside pearkes!
It’s sportsplex
Manufactured in Mexico…should explain enough
Lots of stuff is this is just bad
I dont disagree with you. They realized it, and are switching factorys.
That’s good than maybe they will make some good changes
Is it better than the hyper2lite?
Have you watched my reviews on the catalyst 9x3 and hyper2? If a stick lasts mere minutes it’s not a good stick either way.
@@beerleaguebumhockeyreviewsYes I have. I was just wondering because I have purchased the hyper2 a month ago and it is still in very good condition
@@LukasCarvahjal you’re lucky I’ve broke two team mate broke his first week. And guy at my local store I deal with days he’s had 12 back already
@@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews wow that is ridiculous especially how expensive sticks are getting
@@LukasCarvahjal yeah the manager said it’s been silly and he knows my channel so now he’s like I’ll prob see all the trues now lol
I don't get it, doesn't ccm own them? And you love CCM. . .
I doubt it, the manufacturing is much different
shiet no refund
Store gave me an ft6 instead cause they know I busted 4 trues alrasdy
haha nice!
True is trash
That it is!
