Thank you, this is very straightforward! I'm fairly new to volleyball, so I like how direct you are about what's too hard and what to expect at the beginning. Thank you!
I’ve been playing as a wing hitter for almost 13 years now and the biggest advice I can give is that perfecting your technique is far more important than how hard you hit or how high you jump. perfecting your passes, sets, reception and wrist control is more crucial than jumping or hitting hard. those two will get better as you go on to perfecting your technique. of course there is no harm in training for those but I highly suggest that you don’t make them your first priority. hope that helps in any way and have fun dude!
I know that in basketball you see different jumps, mostly from one feet. Also you have to carry the ball. In volleyball we need clean vertical jumps, since we need to deal with high blocks😀
Thank you, I'm kinda stuck rn. My volleyball coach last year didn't let me continue on the school team because he thought I wasn't good enough when I'm one of the better players. It's really because he doesn't like me, so I'm going to try my best to get on the team this year. I will be as good as I can, so I'm able to play the tournaments because I love volleyball, and having an asshole coach isn't going to stop me.
If I do these exercises for 1 month will i see some results I joined the college team as a opposite hitter so I want to increase my vertical a few inches before the game begins
It´s good goal 👍 Expect that it can take few months to reach it. If you train one time per day than 3+1 is ok, if you train two times per day than I suggest 2+1 since your body needs time to absorb trainings and develop.
Yes, they will help you definitely to improve your jump. But if you are serious about improving your vertical jump as much as you can, you will need more exercises, weight training and stretching to maximise your potential.
Please make a video. How many days we have to practice volleyball in a week. And which day which excercise we have to do? and how many days we have to take rest in a week. Please make video about this in a full video.
You should mot do these exercises three days in row, your body needs some rest. Generally you should do 3-4 sets and 6-10 reps of each exercise, but it also depends on your season, games, possible injuries. Not easy to answer😀
It is not about hours. Think about sets and repetitions. For exampe … 100 jump rope jumps is not enough, but 100 box jumps is too much😀. I will make video about it😉
Hi im 13, i started playing vball since i was 10, and around 11-12 yrs old ive developed a vertical jump from a daily routine of jumping approach in spiking because it was pandemic and we had to stay in our house with nothing to do so during that time ive developed my vertical jump, but ever since i moved houses i started losing the vertical jump that ive developed and until now my vert isnt with me anymore, how do i get it back, because im just 5'3 13 yr old spiker who rlly wants to pursue being able to be a spiker.

@@theharry1222 you need to practice more... literally all there is to it, either practice to get over the ball and hit steeper, or improve your jump and hit the ball from a higher point, if you cant avoid a 1 on 1 block thats something you need to train to do, have to be honest avoiding just 1 blocker isnt difficult really
