QFES - Multiple Fire & Rescue and Rural Appliances Responding (Gatton Command) - Large Grass Fires

LAIDLEY NORTH FIRE (0:00 - 2:13)
672 Alpha (1113) from Marburg Fire & Rescue, HATT52 & HATT53 from Hattonvale Summerholm RFS and PREN52 from Prenzlau RFS are all seen responding to an out-of-control fast moving vegetation fire in Laidley North with multiple other appliances. Multiple other urban & rural appliances also responded to this incident, including 675B, 677A, 677B and PREN51.
FOREST HILL FIRE (2:14 - 4:23)
675 Bravo (1311) from Laidley Fire & Rescue, 677 Bravo (1403) from Gatton Fire & Rescue, Hattonvale Summerholm 53 (HATT53) and Grantham 51 are seen responding to a flareup from a previous fire, fuelled by strong wind gusts and 38° temperatures in Forest Hill. ER12 from Ripley Area Office is also seen responding from the Forest Hill vegetation fire to a separate vegetation fire in the area.
676 Alpha from Forest Hill Fire & Rescue was not able to be crewed for either incident. 675 Alpha from Laidley Fire & Rescue was out of service for the day. Woodlea 51 (WLEA51) & Gatton Springdale 52 (GATT52) also responded to the Forest Hill vegetation fire, however were not included in this video.

An ambulance usually responds to these kinds of incidents due to how severe they can become. In this case the ambulance wasn’t required

Due to the upgraded response of the fire, QPS and QAS from the nearby town were automatically assigned. The second vegetation fire kicked off about 8-10 minutes away in Forest Hill just as the Laidley North one was wrapping up, so half of the units at the Laidley fire, QAS included, proceeded/responded over to the Forest Hill fire. My waiting spot for the day was right in the middle of the two of them, hence the large response to both of them.
