Zack is a master at simple humour, he takes unfunny subjects and adds a subtle twist.
This is true comedy that does not need gimmicks or shock value.
This guy makes you feel like you are listening to a friend or someone you know.
It takes a master to be funny without resorting to crude or disrespectful tactics.

Except, he uses a a gimmick in all his stand up. Awkwardness is a gimmick. The piano-combo is a gimmick. That's his schtick. It works for him, but weird to praise him for something he doesn't do.

A gimmick is creating a new form of concept which provides the artist with a display or form of entertainment in order to captivate the audience when a band or artist lacks talent.
Such as Kiss painting faces and fire blowing, or motley Crew drinking fake JD one stage, or Jimi Hendrix lighting his guitar on fire those where gimmicks which helped capture the audiences attention and to help them remember the show.
Playing piano and being awkward are just present the range of talent a star has, by playing music or singing, by being able to mimic various form of human nature this shows a stars versatility.
This was only to show how gifted Zack is.

It's so stupid that it's really funny
Such a funny little man.
his music is so beautiful and relaxing that i cant even make myself to listen what he says im just listening for music. i didnt knew he can play piano and so good. well, but his humor was weaker than i was expecting, and that relaxing music takes away a little bit from hard laughing and funny atmosphere which shouldnt be like that in stand up right? but he said its not a stand up, and he just makes comfortable peaceful bar atmosphere, in which i would REALLY LOVE to be in right now. Zack is a genius, i wonder if he improvises in piano or he just learned a lot of different nice songs.

Whether he’s improvising, I don’t know, but bits and pieces of his various performances sound similar to me. However I’m not sure how much he can really play on the piano because all he plays during his comedy monologues is the black keys. They make it easy to play something melodic sounding without ever hitting a “sour” note.

The Mexican embassy to North Korea is nonresident and based in Seoul. There are not many legitimate business relationships between Mexico and North Korea which I could find, so I don't see much to suggest that there is any reason to believe there are any Mexican residents looking after business interests in North Korea.
However there are some suggestions of ties between DPRK and Mexican drug cartels, so one might speculate that there could be a few "unofficial" ambassadors representing cartels in North Korea.
But aside from illicit ties, I have doubts that there are any expatriate Mexican residents in North Korea - a nation which takes the idea of a race-nation, Minjok, to extremes including forced abortion of "mixed race" pregnancies and considerable propaganda claiming North Koreans to be the "cleanest" race, of pure Han descent etc etc.
As a nation marked with extreme xenophobia, ideas of racial purity that make Nazis look liberal, and suppression of anyone who deviates from amazingly strict standards of "normal" (people over a certain height are deported to what amounts to penal colonies, and god help those with physical deformity), the SNL joke alluding to the rarity of Mexicans in North Korea seems pretty much dead-on.

When the audience is laughing before a joke. That's almost as rough as the audience not laughing at all.

I thought that as well, but the crowd not being able to be comfortable without laughing for 2 seconds even if there's nothing to laugh about, threw me the fuck off.

I loved Zach when he was a tortured alcoholic. Now he's a sober celebrity he's no longer funny. There's a life lesson there somewhere but I don't know what it is.
