- Dan Martin, PGA explains what ALL poor shots have in common - the application of wrist torque against the shaft. The PRO helps you learn to eliminate wrist torque and capture the natural acceleration of a SWING. www.swingthepro.com

I like your swing versus hit golf swing analogy - please elaborate on how many swings a day a week we should be doing to feel a great golf swing - as always thanks - keith from San Francisco
OMG ... this is an amazing explanation of the physics of loose hands and wrists. Been playing 60 years and have long known that I get better shots when hands and wrists are relaxed, but this explains how the torque causes the club to react -- and it's not good!
Wow ... took this onto the course yesterday ... letting the club take the path of least resistance without wrist torque ... relaxed hands and wrists ... and flinging the club: Had some excellent shots and they felt easy and repeatable. A thousand thanks, Mr. Martin!
Hi Dan. Have been recently appreciating very much your great explanations of why amateurs like myself struggle so much. Natural hand eye coordination is clearly not enough although obviously it helps in being able to hit the ball-but not ideal for consistency and good efficiency!
If I were to use the Pro can I readily see from using slowmo on recording whether I am swinging correctly-with hands and arms? Thanks Regards Ian Inverness Scotland
Too expand on my last comment - other teachers on CZcams recommended hitting 300 to 500 golf balls a day as a weekend golfer I cannot accomplish this - I do indoor practice with ( the hanger) the golf mat called Auc-Srike - once a week driving range practice - - what would you consider 300 to 500 swing a day with the pro acceptable practice ? As always thanks keith from San Francisco
Dan, does this take into account that there is an angle between the arm and golf club which creates a conical pendulum?
Hi Dan,
Tell me from where to get Pro - the golf swing aid you use to explain
Thanks
At www.swingthepro.com. Thx!!
Nice explanation. If I understand correctly, I want to keep my wrists and forearms relaxed so that the club can be propelled faster thru the downswing by my body, and so that the club face can square itself thru impact (I think). Thanks
James, yes, if your grip is in a decent position, you shouldn't need to use your forearm muscles to help the club square itself. Anytime you do, you will slow the club down and bring in contact/directional errors. Thx!
@@danmartingolf Thank you
it's a good point and Dan was trying pretty hard there explaining how should hand be relaxed rather than casting, dragging, throwing or doing any kind of action creating the wrist torque
Are you saying there is no lag in the rope?
Keeping the rope straight doesn't prevent lag. Only at impact does the end of the PRO line up with your arms and shoulders.
Watch this video to see lag using the PRO czcams.com/video/gFNb-TnSWC4/video.html
Can you please explain to me in English.
@Cad Pro who the f*** are you to say that to me you f****** idiot
I would love if you changed your language or terminology to what a 4th grader could understand.... your explanation is way too difficult to comprehend...even for good golfers.
Dan. Just started working with the pro. I feel like my pelvis is powering my swing. Does that sound right? I hope.
Your pelvis certainly will be moving but no specific part of the body “powers “ the motion. Motion is effortless when done well. Post a video in the Swing the pro resources group on CoachNow and I will provide you some feedback. The link to join is in the email you received at purchase. Thx!
@@danmartingolf Thank you.
That's me!
How do I purchase the swingpro?
