The one time the Dragons invest some real dough, its on a complete fad of product that everyone knows is not going mainstream. The world tomorrow isn't suddenly going to cough up $5k on a single person 15mph electric uni-cycle that you look ridiculous on.

My question is WHY didn't he have the actual bike there to demonstrate it? If you are asking for a 1.25 Million dollar investment in an invention , you should at the very least, have that invention there physically so they can see it work!

Frankly, it is one of those inventions that proves the old adage Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. I would not want to be a guinea pig for this in downtown traffic, and even less on the highway at rush hour. What is wrong with a regular 2 wheel bike? :-)

This wasn't meant as a highway product lol given it's...18 miles or so speed.
The seating position looks so UNCOMFORTABLE! You can't even sit up straight in it. Anyone who rides that for an extended period of time is going to have severe back pain!!

I think electric bicycles are a much better improvement over this.
Modern Electric unicycles are actually amazing, and have many advantages over electric bicycles. They are very fast, top speeds of 70kph, able to get there in about 5 seconds, very stable and intuitive to control, and extremely compact unlike a bike, uou can stand or sit, have both your hands free, genuinly think they are the future of personal transport.

I didn't find much info on this bike. He came up with the concept in 2008 from what I gather on the internet. Does anyone know what happened? It was really impressive getting all dragons on board.
I forgot the source, but when he said he invented it, what he did was utilize alot of pre-existing technologies and code and Frankenstein it to that contraption. So if they were to move forward with mass manufacturing it, they would have had to pay for more royalties than it was wortg
In a follow-up episode it was revealed that it fell apart in due diligence because he didn't own the patents on the individual components.

The uno ended up being an invention made out of like 1000 other smaller patented inventions.. so it turned into developmental hell and they started building one what converts into a normal motorbike too. (Watched it the other day in a followup episode) best I can say off the top of my head
