I had that same smile on my face after a fix on a CPU socket on a used motherboard I purchased for cheap. Six slightly bent CPU socket pins and a missing bios jumper, board posted right up... YEAH!!

Great video's :) My Macbook Air 2017 has this different than most problem. It needs to discharge itself while battery is connected, to be able to get orange/green light and it powers on then without needing to push power button. Then i can work on it until battery get to around 60% (onscreen value), then it shuts off. Thereafter its no chance of getting any light or power from it, until it again is discharged. You have any idea of this strange behaviour? I've tried all regular options, resets, disconnect battery, charger connected without battery, debug power on without keyboard connected...im lost

I hate these boards more than any other macbook. They die so easily and so often without giving visual cues.
