Very helpful video, Our BC is still nervy around certain dogs and people, at the moment we're starting to get her used to traffic, starting out with small trips into town on a Sunday so she's not overloaded and stressed out by it. Always a good idea to start out small and work up from there. Thanks :)
Thank you! Best of luck with your BC!
These are really great tips!
Thank you! Glad you found it helpful!
Great tips. Thanks

This is so helpful, thank you! I have a 2 year old mini dachshund , Ella, who is a nervous and fearful and a Covid dog. She is so unlike my previous male, Toby who died in 2020 at 14 years old. I’m 69 years old and find that it is more difficult to train her than when I was 15 years younger. The tips you’ve given are great to get hopefully some progress. She is so different in personality to her littermate sister who we visit for play dates. Her sister is so laid back and friendly. Thanks for this, it’s giving me hope for change.
Thank you very much for leaving this comment, hearing stories like this is exactly why I continue to put out videos, and helps keep me going! I wish you the best of luck with getting started with this at home. Slow and steady wins the race!
I love hearing the tip about consistency. I don't have a nervous dog currently, so I'm just here to learn. I don't think I hear most people talk about the value of consistency for dogs. It really makes a difference!
YES. In my opinion, it is one of the biggest components when working with this in reality.
