Anne, it is pre-cut interfacing, (Pellon in USA, Vilene in England). It is probably used for waistbands or plackets. It is perfect for this purpose.
Thanks :) I think we have something called pellon in French too, used to do curtains at some point :) If I look at pellon, it definitively looks like it :)
Thank you for this inspiration, and sharing your talent♥️

Omgosh. I just ❤ this sweet touch and you make me believe I could do this too. Can't wait to practice with all my unused but loved ribbon
You can do it! :) for sure! just trust the process … I had no idea where I was going and how it would end-up but when I was placing some lace, I knew they looked good so, I stitched them and added and added :)

Thank you so much! 😀
So pretty Anne. We have started our journey to Spain for Christmas, we arrived in France last night and on my travels another snippet roll was on the agenda to do xx
so great! Enjoy your trip :) 2 of my sons are living in Spain and my daughter is going to join them in 2 weeks for a 3 weeks vacation. :)
I still have yet to make a snippet roll. They're so nice and seem easy to make. I love yours, TFS 😊💖
Thanks so much 😊
You could also use some fusible webbing on the strip, it comes in very lightweight with a paper backing which you would iron onto the strip, then peel off the paper and you could lay all your laces and labels on then put a non stick sheet or a piece of parchment paper over everything and iron using steam. The "glue" would seep through the lace and catch the labels into place as well. It won't make it too stiff to stitch and will be even more useful when you do your embroidery/darning foot demo. You are so creative, and your work is gorgeous.
Thanks Barbara for this tip :) I will definitively look into that :)
I just adore this Anne! Your work and style is so beautiful and simple. I've always wanted to make a snippet roll, but have never gotten around to it. Your presentation makes it simple and fun, yet extremely beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you so much! 😀🌷
That is gorgeous love it Hugs Bonnie
Wow beautiful,congratulation👍👏👋
Hi Anne it looks like non elastic waste band roll”
It’s an interfacing I use when I make shorts or uniform skirts for the grand girls !! Great idea mine is 1 1/2 wide on the roll .. great find it’s expensive!!
Good to know! I paid 75 cents for the roll I think! :)
Beautiful. I love everything you make. What size ribbon are you using?

Beautiful snippet roll! How did you print your digital on fabric? Tfs💕💕💕
Here is the link to my tutorial video for printing on fabric : czcams.com/video/Lfv5tELpYu8/video.html
When you popped the pin to hold your snippet roll, I noticed it was a lovely rose pin. Would it be possible to find out where you purchased that. It is so pretty! Thank you!
i wish I would know where to buy the porcelain rose too. it was a gift I received.
Anne, what kind of all white fabric did you use here for the labels? There are so many to choose from. Thanks.
I printed on old bed sheets :) 100% cotton
Is the material you are printing on calico/ muslin?
just old 100% cotton bed sheets :)
Exquisite ❤
Очень красиво, но не пойму для чего их используют!? Где применяют?
you cut them to the size you want to add little pieces to your junk journal page or use them as decoration. my favorite way to use is to cover the spine of a junk journal.
Are the images you tore apart available for sale? If so, where, please?
You can get the digital kit and print on paper or fabric : odulcina.etsy.com/ca/listing/1152693994/antique-labels-digital-set-printable-for
I have a tutorial to show how I print on fabric: czcams.com/video/KF-ORPpwsNA/video.htmlsi=GplNSsnPl8B1sGOY
What are these used for?
You cut pieces of it to add to the junk journal as snippet or a longer piece to create a belly band but the best usage I find is to glue it on the spine of the journal to hide the signature thread.
Thank you so much. @@odulcina
