I understand the want to advance technology, but for me, having the tactile physical buttons on the controller is what makes it enjoyable to DJ.. when everything is on a screen like a tablet it’s just not as enjoyable anymore.
I totally agree. I guess their approach is to make it minimalistic, keeping it a similar workflow whilst making it a portable so there's some functions chosen to be accessed on the screen. I found the workflow easy and smooth to work on, just like any all-in-one
what buttons and knobs are you not seeing that you require?
I like the minimalist situation however it could mess w your muscle memory when using your standard gear. But again attracted to the portable opportunities

how do you like it compared to a typical CDJ setup? I think the only thing missing is the loop buttons?

Please could you tell me how you sync the audio & video after recording your sets like this? I’ve always wanted to but been so confused. I’m assuming you’ve recorded the audio directly to the usb. Thanks

Yes I did record directly to the usb. What I generally do is tap the CUE button and that will work as the 'clapper'. That way when I record the video, you will see and hear the tapping then you line up the waveforms in the video editing software.
