  • Easily my favorite product release from Honeywell for the 2021 model year. This is so similar to the Bionaire BPF1140. I absolutely love the way this fan startup sounds, I love the construction and it’s overall a very well built fan. I believe when this fan is released it will be priced at around $55. This is the base model, there are others with digital controls as well. Look for it this summer.

    I just got this fan yesterday from Walmart for under $50 and man. Even on the lowest setting it blows ALOT of air. Also love the start up sound it makes. The sound and power it packs it amazing. I’m very impressed and its $50 cheaper than the biggest Vornado circulator and does the same. One con is the Handle is kind of.... bad but I grab it from both sides anyways. Other than that. Definitely recommended.

      @@FansandCars After 2 days I noticed something. I don’t know if yours does it too but I have put it on low every evening right and to my discovery i switched it to medium and it went even lower. As if, the low setting is medium but medium is low? And other times i put it on low and it feels like medium then put it to medium it goes higher and then put it to high and then switch it back to medium and its on low speed then go down to low and its on medium speed lol... it’s super weird. I don’t know if yours does it too. Other than that it’s doing great.

      It is definitely strong enough for exercise. The noise is a bit loud on the highest speed but the lower two settings are relatively quiet given the size and power of the fan. The pitch is lower than a comparable fan so the noise may travel through walls better.

    It terms of air movement how does this fan compare to the Vornado 560 (that is if you've reviewed that fan before)? Also size wise is it bigger then the Vornado? And last but not least how is the noise compared to the Vornado? I like my fans loud. Sorry about all the questions but I'm thinking of replacing my Vornado with this fan so that's why I'm interested.

    • @FansandCars
      @FansandCars  Před 2 lety

      This is definitely a little louder than the Vornado, but since the noise is low pitched, it’s easy to fall asleep with the fan on as the noise blends into the background. It’s not whiny and distracting like a fan with smaller, faster spinning blades. This is a 14” fan and the vornado is a 8” fan, but considering the amount of air movement you get with this model I would suggest this over the Vornado,

      I’m in a similar situation. I have two. Both used maybe a total of 4 hours each (guesstimate lol) one is still in perfect operating condition while the other has stopped oscillating with zero provocation out of me. Or anyone else. lol.
      I tried to Google a “quick fix” like some of the Liberty Honeywell fans seem to have and on first glance I thought wow this is REALLY common. But once I started reading the details every story said something right along the lines of
      “and yes-the day before it gave out, I did drop it from a height of appx 3857.38 feet but I found this to be unrelated and after acting like a toddler on the phone with the manufacturer I got my money back!”
      That may or may not be a 95% accurate quote from one of the clips I watched 😂
      Anywho. I do think there was a (smaller than appears) number of simply defective units. And we happen to have each gotten one.
      I am weary of contacting Honeywell first because I don’t want a refund. I want a proper fan that works as it should! But also I don’t renember if they’re D from target or Walmart bc I frequent both 😂
