I bought this in black for only $46 on major sale on Amazon compared to $80 regular price, well worth it, BEST Time to buy fan is in fall and winter you get Meager discount on all of them, And mine in Black comes with the light pretty blue blades🤙
such a cool fan my mom has the black ac one with 3 blades and remote i'm working on getting me the 12" Desk model with no remote and 3 blades .. i enjoyed the video
Seems well built but they only come with 1 year warranty which is such a letdown. Would you choose this Pelonis BLDC vs the Westinghouse WSFS1871?
I’ve had this one for over a year now, and it’s gotten plenty of use this past summer and recently these past 2 months. It’s still working great. I agree though, I was hoping the warranty would be way better too.
I was just about to say........another DC pedestal fan! XD. I remember seeing this fan at a Lowes.
I think I probably am the only subscriber who has more than 2 of these it’s pretty funny. Yeah these are pretty cool!
Thanks for this nice video which has sold me to buying this make. 😊 There are, however, two models available: one is PFS40D6ABB and the other its newer version, the PFS40D8AWW. Wonder if you'll have preference for one over the other! Thanks.
I have both variations. The PFS40D6ABB is the black version of the one in my video, and the PFS40D8AWW I have a video of as well. I don’t like the latter as much as the first one I mentioned. The second one isn’t as strong.
@@fansgalorellc621 Many thanks. I'll go with your advice, and PFS40D6ABB also happens to be a shade cheaper.
I like having air on me it helps me sleep would you recommend this fan for mostly night time use but also a nice day fan
I would. You can use the lower 6 speeds for sleep, and the higher 6 speeds for daytime use.
So would you recommend this for someone who wants a strong fan with alot of wind pressure?
I do. You have the option of soft or strong depending on your needs.
Hey Fans Galore, LLC ... Which is the coolest/coldest fan that you'd recommend?
One that's still selling would help.
You have a few options here! The Pelonis BLDC is a good one as they are quite strong and pleasantly quiet for how much air they produce. Another good choice is the better homes and gardens 9” desk pedestal fan. Don’t let the size fool you, it packs a massive punch. And the Vornado pedestal fans I’ve reviewed on here are quite good. It’s really a tie between those. But the better homes and garden is probably my pick for a strong fan.
Hey! just wondering, what phone/camera do you use to film these videos?
JackTheFanMan Currently I’m using my IPhone 11. :)
Does it tilt downwards? Thanks 😊
What type of apparatus holds the fan grills together? Is it flimsy?
It appears to be a plastic ring that clamps together at the bottom with a plastic clip. Could it be deemed as flimsy? Absolutely. But I have yet to have an issue with that piece.
Do you know what size battery the remote uses?
Two AAA batteries
@@SK-qu4wo I wish it was that simple. Mine came without a battery. It takes some kind of round battery like a watch does. I just don't know what size.

Okay I bought my Pelonis fan about 2 years ago so the remote might be different now.
I'm planning on buying this fan but I wanted to find out if the blades are the hard, non-bendable plastic, or is it that cheap bendable plastic that Lasko fan blades are made with now?
Glacius These plastic are very solid to answer your question. They don’t bend without a good amount of force. Those lasko blades are very flexible and they shouldn’t be.

Thanks for the quicky reply. I have another question about this Pelonis fan. I notice that it has a metal grill. Can they be cleaned by washing or using a wet cloth? I ask this because I wonder if the grill might start to rust.
Glacius You can. I recommend immediately after washing it with the cloth you dry it off so it won’t rust. But it’s painted so I think you’ll be okay doing that.

Okay good to know. You have a great voice by the way. I could listen to you talk about fans all day 😂
I appreciate that. I used to *hate* my voice but I have to rewatch these videos myself because I’ve grown to love it. Planning on doing ASMR still after this covid blows over!
How do dc fans compare to fans with metal blades.
DC motors can easily be adapted with metal blades so I would say very comparable. I don’t know why manufactures only use plastic blades because these motors seem to adapt well with the load. You can do similar things with DC ceiling fans.
You're pronouncing the name wrong. There's no Y in the name.
Ive used the names interchangeably doing both with the Y and without. Thank you for letting me know.
