Thrilling

on March 5, 2024 my family and I hiked the Big Creek Cave Falls trails South of Jasper Arkansas. This is a short but very adventurous and rewarding hike with several exciting creek crossing and one of the most awesome waterfalls I've seen in the Ozarks. Check it out and I hope you enjoy!

One of my favorite areas to explore. I enjoyed this video because I have not been to these falls. I used to lead photo outings for the Imagemakers Photo club to this area. We would mostly be in Boxley Valley. We went to Lost Valley which has Eden Falls and is loaded with wildflowers. I got introduced to this area when attending photo workshops put on by Tim Ernst. He had a house on a bluff above the Buffalo River not far from Hawksbill Crag. He has a nice guidebook called Arkansas Waterfall Guide and I have visited many of the falls in his book.

I need to get that book. I have his OHT guidebook. He is so detailed. Thanks for watching again. Glad you enjoyed. As long as the creeks aren't much higher the falls are definitely worth the trek.
