Exploring Arkansas: Trails Less Traveled Alum Cove National Recreation Trail

This wonderful trail south of Jasper, first astounds you with a massive natural stone bridge, that at one time was actually used by vehicles. Farther along you’ll discover little cavern “hideaways” which the locals call “goat houses” since they were once used by roaming goats.
