My grandfather, Allie James wife Liza, was the blacksmith in Ravenden Springs in the 1940’S and 50s. My other grandparents who lived here were Roy and Hazel Kellett. He had a gasoline station in the 50’s and 60’s. My parents were Gerald and Lora (Kellett) James were living here in the 40’s and early 50’s. He worked for Jerry Sallee raising cattle. I would love to hear from anyone familiar with the area and people. I was born in Hardy Arkansas but started first grade in Ravenden Springs. I remember the Bailey name as someone my relatives knew. I would love to move back to this beautiful area.

My Grandparents lived in Ravenden Springs around 1900. They were Otto and Lottie Thoma. Grandma was a Tiner her sister ,Kate, married Sular Vandergriff. We spent some summers at Sular’s farm I was 14 and loved it there.
