All of this information is EXTREMELY informative and paints a picture into the past of the CCG that I don't think Ive seen spread around like this before. Great video - randomly showed up on my feed with MTG stuff. I knew MTG was influential being the first card game, but I had no idea it so directly influenced the creation of Pokemon.

it makes sense that the first japanese tcg would have some influence from mtg. still, thanks to that, we get to see many tcgs exist.
