I can't begin to understand how your videos HASN'T been spread around like wildfire by the Pokemon Community. All of this information is EXTREMELY informative and paints a picture into the past of the CCG that I don't think Ive seen spread around like this before. I seriously hope more people notice this video and get you recognized because dude, you deserve it

Great stuff, man. I have a channel focusing on early Poke'mon TCG decks and gameplay. This kind of content is right up my alley. Was an instant Sub.

Great video - randomly showed up on my feed with MTG stuff. I knew MTG was influential being the first card game, but I had no idea it so directly influenced the creation of Pokemon.

This video or the entire series deserve more attention!

Where the hell did you get that remix of the standard battle theme from the old GBC game? That shit was smooth.

Oh goodness, that pokemon tcg gameboy song is hitting me right in the nostalgia. I'm still holding hope that one day it'll get a remake/spiritual sequel, with a single player focus.

it makes sense that the first japanese tcg would have some influence from mtg. still, thanks to that, we get to see many tcgs exist.
