For me the Ducati 1098 just stood out Of course that goes for the 848 as well as the 1198. The body lines on this particular bike just does it for me. Here's why. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

my first brand new 2008 model excellent i still enjoy it so much keeps my 67 year young body fit and alert , keep safe and enjoy its a keeper for me,conal in ireland ,

Totally agree, such a beautiful and timeless design. I've kept an eye out for the right one at the right price but haven't found it yet. Hopefully someday before they get too collectible.

Well said. :) Mine has done over 60000km and what a beast.
But for every duc remember to change:
- new Reg (mosfet) & relocate
- new stator & connection
- new battery ( and if lithium, rplace reg with lithium proof one)
If i buy another duc someday, no matter condition i will change first these without even hesitating.
... Some broblems yes, but when these work these are some beasts. 😈

I choose my 1098R after riding an MV Agusta SPR and realizing it was a tank slapping bitch to ride....and I wanted one for years...after sitting on the 1098 I was in lust...its still tactile and raw.
Man I literally don’t know how I missed the 1098’s release. I wasn’t worrying about bikes for a while and totally missed it. But when I saw it I immediately fell in love. It had already been out for years!

Nice choice, I like that it is also an unforgiving bike (I assume) I haven’t ridden one (yet) but I want one and will get one in the spring. I’m running a 22 busa and I love that bike, but want something different, not just any something a 1098.
