Love him. So underrated as a manager and tragic that he never got his wish to stay at Villa for the next 8 - 10 years. RIP Ron. HEITS

Wow what a great video. Ron Saunders built Villa’s great revival in the late 70s. Bring back great memories of glorious Villa back then, me in my teenage years.

Interesting that even back then the press were trying to unsettle a successful Villa (League Champions, no less) with daft stories about other clubs wanting their boss.The man would have won loads more trophies if given the chance...Doug Ellis set us back a million years.
