Got it recommended now in 2022.
should have offered him jam rolly polly...
Haha
@@wickfill Because everyone who didn't know Harry before Im a Celeb is looking him up. YT algorithm then classes his tag as a trending topic and throws it in peoples recommended.
Or kangaroo penis.
Shawn would have been a world beater if Noel Edmonds massaged his leg every morning.
Shaun was on 65K a week with QPR at a time in his career when he was well past his best. A player under contract is only obliged to do one thing. Look after himself, train well and make himself available. He isn't obliged to move, go out on loan or take a pay cut. Why should he?
That was Harry redknapp , he had Benjani at Portsmouth as soon as a offer came in he was driving him straight to the airport to Manchester, and he didn't want to go, begging Harry to stay.
â@@jammydodger1982 â@jammydodger1982 'as soon as a transfer came in'. He paid 4.1 million for benjani from Auxerre, scored 1 goal in the Premier league (I'm fairly certain a grandmother would put as much away with chances created in a 38 game season) and was offered 9 million by Man City (before transfers went silly), how could you blame Harry for that? you would want to be simple for turning down more than double what you paid for a striker that scored once for you in the domestic league
@@paulgormley5010 it's not the slave trade, he signed a contract with pompey at the time and he cld do what he likes, but Harry's pushing him out the door straight away.
Redknapp self projecting his own neurosis.
Wright Phillips was the same as half the QPR team at the time, huge salaries and well past their best, awful running of the club
No idea why this was recommended a year later but love how honest Harry is
"Honest" is the one thong that you can never accuse Harry of - around 90% of his stories are nonsense.

QPR: How not to buy success in the Prem
The same can be said about a lot of clubs these days.
Brilliant impression of Darren Farley!!!
That blatant honesty is the reason he's now king of the jungle
That's about the politest "Fuck off we don't want you" you're ever gonna get! Lol.
+kdlofty Not really I think Redknapp can understand why he'd stay for the money, the previous manager is more to blame
I agree with your point. but it still amounts to the same thing.
QPR became the dumbest club for a while as they paid out huge wages to numerous players who didn't really fancy the job.
Actually a lot of players were all queuing up to play for QPR (who were battling relegation at the time) because of the money being offered. It was disgraceful really, and showed thatâs all they cared about.
This includes Odemwingie who turned up at the ground hoping to force through a deal from West Brom on deadline day (who were mid table at the time). The QPR captain gave a great interview at the end of the relegation season; He said that they sold all the players who got QPR promoted in the first place that had a lot of character and passion for the football club (replaced by money grabbing assholes who didnât give a shit, like Bosingwa who was laughing on the pitch straight after they got relegated).
DTM4581 remember guys they were the original Man City when it came to money and look where they are now .. amazing
original man city were blackburn in 1995
We're in the process at Everton at the moment...

Great honesty and very true too
Everyone calling him greedy would do the same thing . Easy to judge when you arenât in that position .
just because people would do the same, doesn't make it not greedy lol. its still greedy, its just that the average human being doesn't deserve the air they breathe lol.
@@J040PL7 Not even remotely greedy.
@@J040PL7 Greedy? He has a contract.. He has every right to see it out. Why would he go elsewhere when he knows he wonât earn anywhere near that amount of money again? Doesnât make sense.
Very greedy little man đ€
@@J040PL7 It's just the sensible thing to do. Footballers' careers are extremely volatile and very short, so you better make it count. Also, it's often not only the individual supporting themselves but (for better or worse) the whole family/extended family, not to mention the charitable/community commitments that being a public figure entails.
Clubs always fall into this trap. Give a player a long, expensive contract and then are offended when they wonât leave for a massive pay cut
Sounds like Bale at Madrid- he did however go to Spurs on loan and still sits on the bench
Not James Rodriguez though. Took a huge pay cut to go to Everton
SWP should have listened to the King of the Jungle
I swear you are on every video
love the way harry just says he has a great contract

Ended his career the day he left for Chelsea.
Couldn't agree more! Loads of players have ruined their career for the big money move though. I tell you who else ruined his own career, Adebayor. The day he left us was the architecture of his own failure. Yet he still thinks he's the Big I Am & proclaims that "he doesn't regret leaving Arsenal". Sure Adi!
Not a Chelsea fan, but a lot of careers were made great by moving to Chelsea, namely the likes of Lampard, Drogba, Cech and so on.
Red Law - just like Chelsea ruined the careers of Torres and Shevchenko. And lets not forget how Chelsea thought that the likes of De Bruyne, Lukaku, and Salah were not good enough for their starting XI.
Chelsea are a rich manâs plaything, nothing more.
+SmoothFlow Boxing 14 trophies since the rich man bought his 'play thing', no ones been more successful than that since he's turned up, somethings going right even if players are slipping through the net. Best owner in the epl, hands down, seem to be forgetting man united let the likes of pogba and pique leave..
Bonez8317 - fair point about pogba and pique. Iâm not a United fan. But, Chelsea do not bring enough players through their academy. They have a shocking record. Even City and Liverpool have more success at bringing through youth team players.

Youâre a real wet blanket you know that!?
Football is a short career, you get good money pretty much at most clubs. If I was lucky enough to be a footballer I'd wanna play every week myself.
What about at clubs where the chairman and board are scum and you donât get paid for six months.
Happens all the time.
Same happened with Jack Rodwell at Sunderland. They wanted rid but he had a huge contract. Canât blame the player really. In any walk of life people wonât accept substantially less money to do the same job when they have a guaranteed contract. Itâs the clubs board that need held accountable not the players.
ÂŁ70k a week.

Burying his employers in a press conference isnât really a good idea though is it...?!
Harry went with " when you're earning X amount of pounds" but couldn't extend it through to something along the lines of " and somebody wants to give you 0.2X pounds".
An Mark Hughes still gets job offers after what he did at QPR lol. By far my least favourite manager in the PL.
He did an amazing job with Blackburn who are a nothing club now, also Fulham.

Would love him to return imagine if he came back to be England manager could be great that personality that the whole of England knows now
Surely Ian Wright could help out as he is regularly on BBC/ITV and BT Sport each time on lavish contracts or has Ian forgotten Sean is one of his 8 kids by 5 different women.
At least Linford Christie had his 8 kids by only 4 different women though they are Amateurs compared to my friend's Babyfather's Brother who has 14 or 15 kids by innumerable different Women while my friend is only one of 6 by 6 different Women so that is 20 or 21 kids by the 2 Brothers combined......:)

It's what Wayne Bridge did, he signed for rich clubs offering top dollar rather than ones he would be playing every week.
Oh dear another limited person with zero understanding at how it works.
How it works, depends on the p!ayer, which is some players do move for less money like Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Really it depends on what level of self respect, ambition, etc a player has.

Here is a prime example of a player Gobbling up Money without playing, although Joe and Joanna Bloggs struggle to get by and still and try to budget to go and see thier club!. This was one of the reasons why I stopped supporting a Top League club in 1990.

Why didnât Wright-Phillips just go out on loan, heâs entitled to the same wages
Pete11377 no one else will pay him the same amount of money, QPR for sure doesnât want to pay him so he will play in the other club. Player himself might not want to risk
Zada Kargazhanov but in a loan the same wages are payed as before, by either club
Pete11377 I get what youâre saying but people seem to over simplify when it comes to footballers especially. Just put yourself in his shoes, he might not want to move to another town, he might be settled where he is, I donât know about him but some players have kids in schools and they donât want to take them out. Itâs not all about playing at any cost, theres other things to consider. On top of that a lot of players simply are not âin loveâ with the game as us supporters expect, to some of them itâs a job and if they can get paid huge sums for not playing thatâs fine by them.
He didn't go out on loan because he would then have had to work for his money. He's a classic example of a player who was only in it for the cash.

It is his dream to play for QPR
Harry just looks stonedđ€ą
