Love him or hate him, Harry is IMO one of the best managers we have had down at Fratton Park. Kenny's doing a fantastic job at the moment and I'm happy with him, but when the time comes should we need someone to replace him I'd love to see Harry back here at Pompey. Even if it's in something like an assistant manager's role. He said he had his happiest times with Pompey. He is a Pompey legend. And what about king Kanu our Wembley hero with those goals against West Brom and Cardiff. A true legend. 🔵⚪🔵
Well done pompey. I'm from southampton but never had a love for the city or the team because my parents are from up north and was never brought up that way. Always thought of pompey fans as more passionate and in love with their team. Saints fans just go for a jolly- pompey fans care more.

I'm from oop t'north also, and a passionate Pompey fan. Scummers sat by and watched their club die (only a curious Liebherr coincidence/sentimentality saved their club) whereas we ourselves saved our club.

He’s also the reason why We Won The FA Cup, and won the championship, and got into Europe. Redknapp gave us Pompey fans the best time of our lives.

Good to see the lads doing this, consider that England became the "experts" at dead ball goals Pompey should do the same. As an apprentice our young player I would send a couple of hours a day extra practicing and training on getting the ball where it was intended. For the goal keeper lads consider Jack Buckland landing balls at the feet of the player intended like Luka Modric, worth a thought for all of our young lads
I've always said that I would like to see Harry back in charge again, he always got the best out of the players. We've had some great managers at Fratton Park, remember the wonderful times under Alan Ball. Lets be honest though, who wouldn't like to see the "Harry & Jim days again at Fratton Park.

Football is about glory. Unlike Spurs, Liverpool, Everton and some other premiership teams, teams such as Pompey, Wigan, Swansea and Birmingham City can brag about actual glory and playing European football which must have been surreal for their fans.
As a Pompey supporter playing in Europe was fun but winning the FA Cup was a dream come true. As a kid (I’m 38 years old now) I always dreamt of being at Wembley when we won the cup and in 2008 that dream actually came true. I was there at Wembley Stadium, May 17 2008, the day my dream came true and it was a truly awesome day
I guess our PL years and winning the FA Cup under Harry will always give Pompey fans mixed feelings. But given our previous financial ruin and relegation battles in (what is now the Championship) in the late 90s only a few years before going up to the PL, might we have had a stint in League 1 or even 2 anyway had the glory days never happened? The only difference is just how close PFC came in 2013 to disappearing until PST saved and rebuilt us. All about 2018 now :-)

Hey kids - He helped AFC Bournemouth into Div 2 for 1st time , helped Pompey to the Premier League and finish a season as high as they’d done for years , left them briefly to Sink sfc then returned to help Pompey win the FA Cup - and Celebrate at a pizza place in Hilsea , then faithfully return to put BournemouthPoole on the Swank map of the world - apart from not buying Gazza a nice place in the new forest , he can’t do no wrong on theSouth Coast . Little did HarryRedknapp know that Martin Atkinson was just trying to do his usual and give Chel$ea the silverware which they need to win with what they spend. On this rare occasion there was a nicer outcome to Martin Atkinson's cheating (but still another trophy he robbed ManUtd) but had Portsmouth met Chel$ea with Atkinson as the ref it would be the complete opposite as per usual. More like Portsmouth a harsh red card and Chel$ea get away with the bad penalty decisions. Atkinson just wanted to make the pathway easier for Chelsea in that ManUtd vs Pompey game he didn't know Barnsley would knock Chelski out later that day.
