I've been stuck in a massive rut lately and this is really helping me realize you just have to get up and do it. I know this may not perform as well as your other content, but I definitely think it is just as meaningful, if not more to a lot of people.
@Parking_lot182 I use Nike Run Club and it's really great!! They have guided runs which can be really helpful when you're starting/not feeling motivated. edit: and they have a couch to 5k program (like 2.5 miles I think)
@@smokejc Things that are normal are seen as "soft" when women do them. when a guy openly does it it's "normal" so it's understandable why she'd think it was weak of her even tho it's not weak at all.
Despite being warned that he would be making this joke, I still clicked on the video excited for him to meet his number one fan and was sad to see I had been duped
There’s something about watching a creator you actually like do things like this. I’m not an athlete, no one on my family is an athlete, but i started my couch to 5K training and I’m loving it. I really love these videos.
A note from an endurance runner - TAKE GELS WITH YOU WHEN YOU RUN! When you have a crappy run and you're feeling low on energy, smash a gel and I promise you'll feel the difference :) P.S. I've been watching your videos for a couple years now and I am SO stoked you seem to have found yourself again through training and goal setting. You just seem so happy, joyful, fired up, and enjoying life at the moment, and it is seriously infectious. I never wait for CZcams videos but I look forward to your training videos every Tuesday (it is Tuesdays here in New Zealand!). Your vids here are relatable, inspiring and motivating. Just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing your training journey with us and being hilarious at the same time. You are having a big impact on people!
Hey Cody! You are probably not reading this, but thanks to you I stuck with training, I started a month and a half ago, almost quit, but this channel helped a lot to push through the dips! In the first month I went from a size 38 to 34 in pants size, keep these videos coming please!
I've been watching Cody for a really long time and this has been such a breath of fresh air. So happy for the success Cody has had and all of the exciting stuff that is coming with that, but unfiltered and just Cody with a camera will always be the best.
Went for my first run in 3 years yesterday, in 2019 I ran a half-marathon and then the pandemic hit and bam became a couch potato, but seeing you going out and just getting those runs in no matter what reminded me of what excitement I felt when I went out too, thanks Cody, keep it up
Okay. I am putting this here so that someone has a record to hold me accountable. I am not a runner. The farthest I’ve run consecutively is 2 miles, and my fastest mile time is only 8:19. Seeing you all in the comments is so inspiring to me. I’m going to work out at least 3 times a week with a mile run to warm up, starting tomorrow. Wish me luck 😊❤
Try to start slow. Most people will rush into the training and go way too hard, and then get burned out and give up. So don't be afraid to start light and gradually increase the intensity when you feel it becomes too easy 👍
It might seem a little counterintuitive, but try and run every day - even if for only 5 minutes when you're starting out. Otherwise, if you schedule a run on say Monday, if you're doing 3x per week and not really feeling it on Monday, your brain will say "Skip today and make up for it later this week" and never end up doing it. This brain 'trap' always kept me from forming new habits. Best of luck!
This channel has come at the perfect time for me, and apparently a lot of other people judging by your comments. You have motivated me to get up and do it. It's easy to talk myself out of doing a workout, watching you slay at everything and improving each week has given me the push I needed. If you keep putting put these videos, I will keep watching and being inspired by you. Signed a 52 yr old grandma in Canada 🥰
The whole time since you've started this channel, I've been in a really miserable chronic illness flare-up that means I can't exercise at all. I know other people are using it for training motivation, but for me it's more motivation to get through this, seek the help I need, and be patient with my body so I can move again in the future. It's really hopeful in what's been a very difficult time for me, moving to a new place and dealing with health bs, and for some reason this really helps me be positive about the situation changing if I just don't give up and get help.
This is some of my favorite content from Cody. Maybe it’s not as creatively expressive as main channel shit but it’s consistently entertaining and motivating.
i ran competitively for 10 years, it’s been 5 years since then and i haven’t felt the same since then. The way you describe the feeling of noticing your body’s growing athleticism is what makes it such an amazing experience. you’ve inspired me to start again, thank you:)
I’m running the NY marathon on Sunday and, my goodness, I don’t know why, but watching these training videos has made me even more hype than usual!!!!! Looking forward to continuing to watch your journey
i like how much cody complains about the set up for bike rides and then have to squeeze into a wet suit and drive at 5:50 am in the morning to the pacific ocean for a swim
Does Cody know about outside bikes? They’re this new tech, they built stationary bikes with actual wheels on them. They use rubber tread so you don’t slip and you can go pretty darn fast. Some have a whole gear system that lets you go up hills, it’s crazy!!
Literally use this channel to keep me motivated. Been a fan since vine days, met you in VT a few years ago, and I’m so happy to see you doing content that is clearly bringing you so much happiness and contentment. So excited to keep watching you accomplish your goals!
Hey Cody! I haven’t been active for the last like three years and I put on a heap of weight during Covid - but seeing these videos all of a sudden out of nowhere made me want to run! So I’ve been running for the past two weeks and these videos have been really motivating for me to be active. I just wanted to say thank you so much for taking us on your journey!!
Thanks so much for these, Cody. They really motivate me and this is such a positive outlet for me to get motivation and inspiration from! Please keep the videos coming!

Thank you for being so consistent with this channel - this type of content is really what I think people have been needing! Also would be nice if you could recommend a few podcasts to listen to while running
these videos have actually been really motivating for me during my half marathon training. i had my longest run yesterday and was only able to get 3 hours of sleep beforehand, kept making excuses to not run but then watched a vid where cody ran even though he barely slept the night before and it motivated me to get it done. thanks man
i love these videos so much i like how they show a little more about your life and a look into what is motivating you ! keep up the good work cody (and team!)
Just started working out again for the first time since playing baseball in college and this channel is inspiring me to keep going everyday. Love it and keep up the great work!

These videos really make me feel motivated to work out :) May sound a bit nerdy, but I’d love if you could do an advice or Q&A type video where you talk about tips and tricks when it comes to working out (especially running) or just how to work with mindset etc! Keep it up🤠💪🏼🚂🚂
I love this stuff Cody. First time commenting on one of your videos, but this training content rocks. I’m a powerlifter but I’m planning on running a marathon next fall now.

I hit a new low weight today, and this channel has definitely encouraged me! I’m not doing anything nearly as intense as Cody, but he’s still encouraging me to push forward!
Loving the the training vids! Re: running in the dark though, highly recommend wearing a light of some kind. I got a couple rechargeable/reflective ones that I’ll strap onto my leg just so I’m visible to cars, murderers etc. ditto for the bike btw, I keep one on my seat post so cars behind can see me from a distance (day and night). safety first 🤙🏻
I’ve always played sports at a good level but could never run any kind of distance comfortably. I started doing couch to 5k from watching these videos! Love it. I’m so motivated and it’s so helpful to see you admit when it sucks and you don’t want to do it but push through
Hey Cody, I just wanna say thanks. I have recently started running again after 1.5 years after watching you train on this channel. Today I ran for 42 minutes at 6'35" per kilometer. Please continue making these videos. I am training for 10k and I believe I can achieve that by the end of this year. Kudos

the wild thing about cody being scared is that even men are scared of being murdered by other men lmaoo

dipping a hard boiled egg in salt like it's ketchup is insane but I'm also here for it
