I thought it was just me thinking this, I was kinda bummed out that there wasn’t much train 🚂 content. But I do like seeing the more avant-garde holistic vlog style train lover videos.
Just thinking about Cody setting up his camera, running by it to get the shot of himself running, and then having to go back to get it, cracks me up. Lol
Already love this channel so much. I just started my running journey and this type of content is not only incredibly inspiring, but also very entertaining. Thank you Cody. Please do a model train collection video next time
At the risk of being major cringe. These new vlogs and this channel is sick. Surfing and fitness content from someone who’s just down to earth and hilarious. So refreshing from the usual fitness vloggers! Keep the content going !
This comment gives off major “I’d never say it to her face, but Pam is a wonderful friend and a gifted artist” “why wouldn’t you say that to her face??” Energy lol
What you said at 4:12 was money dude 👌🏽 what you eat in the morning really sets the tone for your day. That’s why i just stick to a nice walnut salad 😂 👊🏽 nah but forr real, looking good dude, keep the quality content coming!
This was the most enjoyable vlog you've ever made. There's something about witnessing another person's passions that just makes you feel GOOD. You've absolutely nailed this style of content, keep it up! -PS as a cyclist, if you are going on longer rides (over an hour) you'll definitely want chamois cream with that bib. Just make sure to get the right brand for your skin!
thanks cody! i was running on the treadmill here at my local missouri planet fitness when i turned this on hoping to find out the secret to having a better time. i turned off the treadmill and drove to california to start surfing!! 👍🏼 you were right, much better!
Cody! What you said about sleep is crazy. If I stay up late it's almost traumatic for me as crazy as that sounds. I used to party a lot and festivals were my thing so I'd be up at odd hours, sleeping until 3pm some days, just no set schedule. I stopped drinking and got into weightlifting and it makes me feel great but I feel like a legit crackhead the next day and feel depressed because I feel like I'm doing something I shouldn't, just by staying up late a few hours. It sucks because I'm a grown adult and can manage my time well and know when I am overdoing it so I'm not sure why I feel that way. Just thought I'd share because I know it was just a passing thought you were sharing, but it is a real thing, 100% valid and it can affect your whole day and become debilitating. Also wanted to say the sugar thing applies to me too, the only thing (and I have had a sugar problem for years) that can help that is fruit. I eat 5-6 cups of fruit every single day and it has made a massive change. One bite of chocolate and it is all I want all day and nothing else sounds good, but then all the junk makes me feel sick. If i eat chocolate I have to eat it with fruit on the side because it will help fill me up and the fiber in fruit helps digest the chocolate better. Just a tip :) It's comforting to know I'm not the only one with these feelings! It is probably just our subconscious. I have been watching on here and there since I was in high school, 24 now, and I've never commented or anything but in case you see this comment, I wanted to point out and say that I see your character development and all the effort you have been putting in to create the best and happiest version of yourself. You seem genuinely happy, and I am glad you are finding that. I offer an outsider perspective when I say you should focus on this kind of content. It seems like it motivates you and drives you and at the end of the day all anyone wants is to be happy. It is okay to lighten your load :)
could not agree more about the dorkometer. I love biking and golf but man is it hard to not come across looking like you spend your days trapped inside an excel spreadsheet
Be careful running in the heat! Make sure you stay hydrated before, during, and after your run and if you feel sick or dizzy, STOP. Heat stroke is a very serious thing, I’m from texas so I KNOW what it feels like to run in the heat lol
I have a competitive half-marathon in less than 3 weeks. While I'm sure I can finish with a good time, I'm yet to run that kind of distance. Such videos and this channel in general are very motivating and an absolute blessing to watch, thank you Cody!
Really enjoying this channel so far, you’ve inspired me to be more active myself. I walked two miles this morning and swam a quarter mile (haven’t swam laps in YEARS) so thank you!
i love this content so much, super inspiring and wholesome. Ive run twice for the first time in years cause of your ultramarathon vlog, so thank you so much! it helps seeing people talk honestly about things like how awful hot runs are haha
these first two videos have got me way more motivated to workout n run n shit so thank you brotha. i’m tryna do my first ever marathon with you if you’re down
hey Cody just as a piece of advice, the second train is actually a B model, not an A model. you can tell by the 3rd most left bolt on the undercarriage on the first base. you see the A model is superior because of its advanced ergonomics and trigonomics, it can reach speeds of 4,557.32 trainecs per day while the model B is lesser but more common, only reaching 4,554.89 trainecs per day. I'd suggest also investing in a personal train collection cabinet! love the train content! keep it up!
I started half marathon training recently and love seeing you start training content. It’s also great to see this side of your life, it’s really refreshing and motivates me to prioritise enjoying and also challenging myself. Keep it up!
I love Cody's sit down stuff, but damn I've always thought where he shined the most was the post Vine vlog era, and this channel is proving that. He just seems more comfortable in this style.
I started running again, last month and it's been great, a good way to feel accomplished in a personal way. I haven't been working out consistently since high school so it feels so refreshing to be out and doing something. Even if it's 100 degrees out...
You couldn’t have picked a more perfect time to make this channel. I starting running competitive trail races this summer and I’m currently training from a 10k to a 30k. You inspire me to increase my milage and push through the pain (especially in Texas heat). 🤙🏻
i’m gonna start doing calisthenics and training harder with kickboxing. these videos bring me back to moments when i was really feeling myself and accomplished. im a pretty active person, but these last couple months have definitely gotten to me 💀 tysm for making these videos and showing us what makes you happy, it’s so refreshing to see
another exquisite video on model trains, he really goes into detail on the engine in this one. cody thank you for bringing light to the model train community. have a great one and keep CHOO CHOOIN through life.
Big ups to this channel bc it’s really inspired me to be more active. I was an athlete throughout high school and college now I finally feel like I’m working my way back up to being a lot more active. Even ran a 5k the other day.
LOVE this content man. Real inspiration and the most genuine and realest person about fitness/training I’ve ever seen. Love this side of you Cody keep it up!!
Cool clips of you catching waves!! Keep pushing Cody. The hard training days are tough but stay focused on the goal! Eat enough, sleep enough and play enough!
I need these vids every day! Just ran for the first time this morning in forever because YOU inspired me!!! I used to run cross country years ago but stopped running. Planning to sign up for a 5k and slowly do longer races!
I am in the exact same boat! Did xc in high school and haven’t ran consistently in 4 years or so and trying to get back into it + inspired by these vids!!!
I was a pretty competitive track athlete and burned myself out. Started running again off and on when I started coaching last spring and I’ve been taking it more serious recently so this channel opening is wild timing to keep me motivated. Much love brother
i love this content so much man thanks for being so inspiring. even though i don’t run, your words stick with me and i feel so much more motivated these days
As a recreational runner in Texas, hearing Cody complain about 85 degs is so validating bc my running times during the summer slow by minutes compared to the rest of the year
Plus isn't the heat there like, thick? I know Cali heat is dry and I'm pretty sure ijbTexas it's the opposite which in my opinion is worse because breathing in it feels heavier. I could be wrong though.
I didn’t think model train content would be cool, but I couldn’t be more wrong. The steampunk engine model was my favorite how it gracefully chugged along the model train tracks. Truly an experience I will never forget, you’ve got yourself a new life long model train fan in me now. Thank you Cody.
I don't know if you will ever read this, but I recently got out of about a year and a half long depressive spiral and have been trying to push myself to do thing I never thought I could do before. I Just got done with my first 7.9-mile run. the furthest I have run before this was 5 miles and I said I would never do more than that. Today my limiting factor was body glide... Whoops. Anyway, I really want to thank you for making these videos. Because of them I am trying to train for my first half marathon. These videos are giving me the motivation I need to find myself again. I seriously mean it when I say thank you for sharing this journey with us.
after months of being sick i had my final surgery to reverse an ileostomy bag. i’m slowly working my way up from walks to biking and i can’t wait to start running again. i love this channel, so motivating
Hey Cody, I’m 18 and just started running daily for the first time in my life, these videos just so happened to be here for me at the right place at the right time. I don’t know if I’m doing a lot by your standards, about 5km a day, but it feels like a lot for me as someone who is only now getting into exercise. It’s been a month since I started, and every day I feel better and better about myself. I’ll be sure to keep watching these videos, keep doing your thing Cody, you inspire me.
I’m really loving this channel. I bike as a hobby and often feel really imposter-y like I’m not a “real” cyclist, and your content is really making me feel motivated to keep getting out there
“I’ve been having half a panic attack all day” is the reality of model train enthusiasts far & wide. Thank you for the representation.
I thought it was just me thinking this, I was kinda bummed out that there wasn’t much train 🚂 content. But I do like seeing the more avant-garde holistic vlog style train lover videos.
absolute banger
My dad is one of those and I can confirm
cody you can see the happiness radiating off of you while surfing. we love to see it
he was literally glowing in that first minute istg
I would literally die for more surfing content from him
Dude surfing looks so fun

Cody needs to make more content like this I love it.
Ikr I love model trains
Agree!!!
He needs to show the trains 🚂 or I’m gonna get angry. Choo choo
He needs to show the trains 🚂 or I’m gonna get angry. Choo choo
Well isn’t that why he’s created this? People are weird bro
That camera angle makes me feel like I’m a safe little baby that Cody is breastfeeding and chatting to while on his run
My dream
BAHAHA
💀💀💀
Just thinking about Cody setting up his camera, running by it to get the shot of himself running, and then having to go back to get it, cracks me up. Lol
some casey type shit i actually loved it
just thought the same thing lol
Already love this channel so much. I just started my running journey and this type of content is not only incredibly inspiring, but also very entertaining. Thank you Cody. Please do a model train collection video next time
At the risk of being major cringe. These new vlogs and this channel is sick. Surfing and fitness content from someone who’s just down to earth and hilarious. So refreshing from the usual fitness vloggers! Keep the content going !
not cringe to praise other humans, keep up the positivity bro :)
yeah that’s not cringe. i love this too!
You successfully passed the cringe test
Why is it cringe to give a compliment?
This comment gives off major “I’d never say it to her face, but Pam is a wonderful friend and a gifted artist” “why wouldn’t you say that to her face??” Energy lol
Cody is in his creative renaissance. And we are all witnessing it ❤
What you said at 4:12 was money dude 👌🏽 what you eat in the morning really sets the tone for your day. That’s why i just stick to a nice walnut salad 😂 👊🏽 nah but forr real, looking good dude, keep the quality content coming!

Dude I can’t even begin to explain how much I love this sort of content, super refreshing and inspiring to see this side of you, keep it up man!
As a slow runner, Cody saying 9m 36s is slow hits right in the feels. Oof.
same just got back from a run where I did 14 min/mile and was dying ☠️
Try running faster?🥴
same lol but I run in heat so my 1330 pace in 106 heat doesn’t feel THAT bad 🥲😅
@@pokemoncool987 gotta start somewhere
I know; that's my mile pace 🥲
I love Cody talking about his mental health and being sober and how sleep is important, so wholesome and real

Let’s Go!!! More Train Content!!!!
In all seriousness, loving these videos and I’m excited to see more!
An episode where you go rock climbing with Ben and Emil would be so sick
plsss
thanks cody! i was running on the treadmill here at my local missouri planet fitness when i turned this on hoping to find out the secret to having a better time. i turned off the treadmill and drove to california to start surfing!! 👍🏼 you were right, much better!
I officially want to work towards running a marathon. Thanks for the inspiration Cody ❤️
The way Cody approaches fitness/health is so inspiring. Genuinely motivated by just these past two vlogs.
Seeing Cody do the things he love most makes the best content
The picture you guys have on the bookshelf ( 9:44 ) of you and Kels holding Chilli like he's your newborn baby is absolutely phenomenal!
Coming from a bike guy, I can safely say Cody does not look like a dork in his Bike stuff, great purchases 👍
agreed! he looks great
Now we all know that This Guy is a bike guy
