    hi. can we do the carbon cleaning with hydrogen gas for highness. my hness has suddenly reduced pickup since 2 weeks after 30,000kms run and showroom mechanic advised against going for hydrogen based cleaning and rather clean the engine head in service center. i have done the hydrogen cleaning in my hero duet and there is an improvement in eunning and it is cheaper.

    Thanks for the tip. What's the rationale for high speed and long distance.. maybe noob question but what about the city users.. What would qualify as long distance or high speed

    • @RajkaGarage
      @RajkaGarage  Před rokem

      No question is ever noob.. answer given to a question can be 😅.
      The reasons i say long distance high speeds is coz at high RPMs all the ports of the fuel injector are fully functional and doing so by long distance provides the additives to constantly come in contact of any varnish or carbon for longer duration and thus helping in clean the system thoroughly. In a stop go traffic and just 10-20kms of traffic the exposure is very less...

      No buddy no drawbacks.. these are very known products from specialists like Liqui Moly etc..

    When I had my RE classic I used to use the liqui moly carb cleaner every 2000 kms on an average! One of the technicians I know told me to stay off these. But now that you are recommending it I will start using it for my mojo from now!
    Also, does it increase the FE as claimed? I did not really see this on my RE though!
    Super tip as always. Makes those who see it want to comment!

    • @RajkaGarage
      @RajkaGarage  Před rokem +3

      It doesn't increase the FE, but doesn't let it deteriorate. Keeps the system clean basically.
      You will find many people out there who would have different way altogether.. there are some kind souls who would even say Fully Synthetic oils are a scam 😂..

    Hi Raj. Ever since I saw this video I have been doing some research on this online. Basis the little research I have done I have the following questions:
    1) Do you pour in the lmfic injector cleaner liquid after filling fuel or before? (My thinking is as follows- go to fuel stn, open tank, pour in correct ratio of cleaner and then fill requisite fuel--- Is this right?)
    2) liqui moly recommends usage once every 2000km. There are some people on Amazon who recommend to use it on consecutive fuel fills and then repeat every 7--8k kms while your recommendation is 10k kms (I wouldn't hold it against you if you said too many cooks spoil the broth. But I am a bit confused and would appreciate your advice)
    3) My bike has run about 11.4 k kms to date. I face the issue of jerky throttle response specially in lower rpms. Would you still recommend using the injector cleaner at this stage?
    Thanks a lot in advance!

    • @RajkaGarage
      @RajkaGarage  Před rokem +1

      Hey Santosh, let's go point by point..
      1). This approach of adding the cleaner before fueling up is recommended for cars as many times the tanks are far away from the filler hose and adding the cleaner first ensures it mixes well and not wasted on the hose pipes between the filler and tank.
      For bikes as the cleaner is going inside the tank directly and due to the volumetric of the tank and the volatility of both fuel and cleaner it mixes almost instantly with even the jerk of taking the bike off the main stand or the first road or brake jerk.
      2). Liqui Moly wants to sell more volumes so they will recommend having it even after dinner every day, but coz it will harmful they don't 😂.
      On serious note, Coming to the frequency of usage.. This is more of case to case basis.
      If you start using it during the infant stage of your engine (8-10k kms) as a preventive thing in my opinion half a bottle of 2 full tanks every 10k kms is good as you don't let sludge or carbon deposits accumulate inside the combination chamber.
      If you are using it after 25-30k kms for the first time then the frequency needs to be upped as this is more of reactive usage when the engine has already started building up unwanted sludge.
      Regarding your case, the engine is almost in infancy days. So you can use it every 10k kms but 2 full tanks to be treated.
      Also for your low RPM jerks, have you replaced your spark plug. If not try that aswell..

    I've always been a bit wary of these additives.... But if you are recommending it, it must be good, Raj.
    On a different note, I would like to meet you in person, if that's ok with you. I live in the hills, but I do travel to Bombay and Pune once in a while.

    • @RajkaGarage
      @RajkaGarage  Před rokem +1

      I have seen very good results in cars where you can make out changes in rough idling getting smooth as multi cylinder engines which shows up at the exhaust tail pipes during idling and also tacho needle tests.
      On bikes i have been using since long as due to my RE500 which is a EFI bike and open the Injectors once in a while to see them clean tip as good as new.
      Sure buddy..just drop me a note in advance, especially when in Pune. I am here most times on weekends can meet up.

    the reply given that is dream Yuga clutch cable will it correctly suits both the ends that is a clutch lever side and also the engine side also the length and thickness of the cable

    • @RajkaGarage
      @RajkaGarage  Před rokem

      Most motorcycle clutch cables have 99% similar design these days. Except for some cruisers like Avenger which has a extended pipe at the lever end. Best is you can physically match it by taking the H'ness cable to the shop.

      @Raj ka Garage liqui moly recommends adding 80 ml (their entire bottle) of the fuel system cleaner for about 10 litres of fuel filled. Is this right or would you recommend less?

    • @RajkaGarage
      @RajkaGarage  Před rokem

      That's the shooter series i guess.
      For good results use LMFIC. This can be used for cars as well as bikes and a bottle of 200ml treats upto 60ltrs of fuel.
