Did a bit of my own research while shifting to irg 7 last service.. 1) Seems throttle is no longer sourced from idemitsu.There's a different supplier mentioned on the bottle .. 2) irg 7 seems similar to throttle in terms of performance . 3) Seems irg 7 takes a little more time to warm up from cold start .but it could be due to winter..need to check 4) gear shifting seems similar to throttle I guess the main take away is longevity of irg 7 and lesser evaporation.

I got this Idemitsu IRG7 10W30 MA2 at Bangalore. It cost me 615rs per ltr. And I got 2 coupons within the bottle cap 500rs and 100rs. So the total cost was 630rs instead of 1230rs.
I think shell advanced 10W40 is the best. My experiences with Idemitsu IRG7 10W30 are 1. Gear shifting is not smooth as compared to Shell. 2. Engine gets heated up after 30-40kms ride. 3. No difference in the engine sound. 4. Interestingly I've got 37.00 avg milage for 700kms city and long rides(both 50-50 ratio). I was getting 38.5 avg in Shell. I've changed oil filter with o-ring, air filter, chain adjustment, chain lubrication, and brake pad cleaning as suggested by Raj bhai.
You read my mind. At the start of the video, I was thinking, after all the brands, AmsOil is remaining. At the end, I literally went like daamn, what I was thinking you said the same. Also, I'm also testing AmsOil too so when your next video comes out, I should also have my observations to compare 😁😋 For Idemitsu my search is on in Bangalore 😅

I have the same bike, upon watching your videos, for my 3rd service, i had Shell 4T 10W 40 Ultra put in as engine oil and had my drive chain adjusted along with spark plugs and airfilter replaced. Though the showroom guy suggested the same it was comforting to know before hand. The problem is now after riding 40 Kms , I'm having an milage of 32-33 whereas previously i used to see 37-38 Kmpl average. IDK why i'm facing this issue, could you give me a list of checks that i can do to fix this ? thanks a lot

How are you see the difference between the size of 130/70-18 and 120/80-18? What will be Pros and Cons if we reduce the size?
I have replaced the rear rim (18 inches) to 17 inches rear rim of cb350 RS...and installed 150/70 R70. The bike looks too good and the feeling of cushioning is much better than earlier, secondly feeling more grip at sharp turns.
I am using a 300v 5w30 Motul and found the best among all engine oils I have used till date ( tried throttle, Liquimoly 10w30,10w40,10w50 & 5w40 API SN JASO MA2). I want your expert comment for the same. Another question is Throttle is JASO MA while all other oils are JASO MA2. I have gone through the difference between MA and MA2 and found MA2 is better for clutch as it's higher friction capacity compared to MA then why Honda recommend MA oil instead of MA2? Please reply. Hello Raj, I replaced my engine oil with Mannol 7812 on CB RS and I rode the bike for 5 kms. Bike seems to be overheating with some burning smell. Do you recommend draining it and refilling with Idemitsu IRG7?
An update here. I continued to ride on Mannol and I see remarkable smoothness and smooth gear shifts. Overheating is not there. Temparature here in Bangalore is around 38 degree centigrade
Is this applicable, for any bikes like Classic 350. Baaki mai luchme hi waala kaha milega, aapne bata diya, lucchna mat 😂😂. Local markets best place as you suggested for research 👍👍 Kaash 2 , 3 account hote sab se subscribe kar leta😅
Highway use if u frequently go past 90-100 motul 7100 feels bit smoother, but heats up in low gear. I am using 10w30 IRG7, only when the oil is old, feels bit vibey above 100kmph
Hi Raj might be a silly question but keen to know if we change oil brands at every interval to figure the best oil are there any issues doing that? Do we need to do engine flush while changing from one oil brand to another
Not required and in some cases it may damage the engine components,just warm up the engine before draining the engine oil and that will be fine. Engine flush is only required once at 15-20 k kms.

Motul 300V is 10W40 not 10W30, so I don't know how it's working in your bike.

Hi Raj might be a silly question but keen to know if we change oil brands at every interval to figure the best oil are there any issues doing that? Do we need to do engine flush while changing from one oil brand to another
Not required and in some cases it may damage the engine components,just warm up the engine before draining the engine oil and that will be fine. Engine flush is only required once at 15-20 k kms.

It costs me 400......but it is best oil i have used in this budget
