Peter Asher and Gordon Waller, live on morning TV in Canada, before an audience of over 4 million viewers. With Jeff Ross, Steve Aho, Bill Cinque, and Brian Pothier.
Perfect pop they still sounded good and a backing band so faithfull to the origional sound, yes they look older but sound the same.with age comes experience, can teach the youngs of today how to do it.ps in the 60s i thought gordon looked a lot like john lennon.
It was generous to give these two great musician-singers a great hit song. They did it justice and created a great sound and tune. Thank you Peter& Gordon
The best song that the Beatles never recorded - it is said that Paul and John disagreed over doing so, and as a result, Paul gave it to Peter and Gordon - IMHO one of the Beatles bigger mistakes.
They were wonderful. Gordon used to be taller. He passed in 2009, very sad. I never got to him perform. I've seen Peter by himself, with Albert Lee and with Jeremy Clyde, all great shows.
@@tomkusz3741 Hi, Tom. I agree. I was born in '66 so i didn't hear it back when it was new. My aunt would play it when we visited she and my uncles' home in the early 70s.
2 very gifted musicians. Forty plus years since the original recording in 1964. And they sound great. Performing live no less and no autotune in sight. These fellas have TALENT. Peter still performing today 2021. RIP Gordon Waller. You are missed by many. Myself included.
Guitar isn't my favorite music instrument, but every time I see a guitarist on stage I can't help thinking it's the coolest instrument ever! Thank you Peter and Gordon for a great performance.
🎉❤🎉 Listening to that song when growing up, age was never on the agenda until you arrived at a place called OLD, and realize that you cannot go back. They could not have chosen better voices to express their sentiments ❤❤❤
Japanese title of this song is 愛なき世界 I like this music forever . When I listened to the this song, Iwas thirteen. Now I'm seventy I love Peter & Gordon. From Japan 🇯🇵 🗻 🗾 👩
Perfect....,steady timekeeping from the drummer, ,tasteful licks from lead gutiar, fine vocals to those 2 warhorses..whats not to like!..thanks fellas...most enjoyable ..🤟🇬🇧
When I was a young boy in the 60s I would stop playing when this came on the radio, so even then it hit a note with me. Now In my 60s it reminds me of the good times with my parents. Carefree days.
navegando llegue a esta gente increiblemente afinada... luego mire cosas de 1964, yo ni habia nacido..EL TALENTO ES INCREIBLE !!! , que regueton ni regueton, esto es increible !!!!
Hard to beloebe that Gordon and I were both delivered by Gordons father within 24 hours of each other Ahh that is Pinner for you, Elton John, Ronnie Barker, Peter and Gordon and Me.
Tipo, ya que tanto Peter y Gordon como los Hermanos Carrión estuvieron influenciados por el dúo de los Everly Brothers y sus armonías vocales a dos partes czcams.com/video/c9OwZH71LBU/video.html
How I remember this hit. It was a kinder and happy time.
Still amazing
Really good, their voices are still great after all these years. The band reproduced the sound of the record perfectly.

They definitely sound older, but I can tell their soul still sounds young. 💗

John and George jumped around studio making fun of the song. Paul came home and gave it to his girlfriends brother Peter Asher.
They may look older but they still got it all right
They were wonderful. Gordon used to be taller. He passed in 2009, very sad. I never got to him perform. I've seen Peter by himself, with Albert Lee and with Jeremy Clyde, all great shows.

They look so happy and confident. What a wonderful duo then and now!

It is indeed good to see that 43 years later, they still could sing and do it well.
That makes two of us. Love for us is so beautiful.💕

Written by Paul McCartney. Just wondered if the Beatles ever did a demo of this or even Paul himself.
There is a demo version by John and Paul and you can find it on CZcams.

I thought that most Mexicans listen only to Latin Music.

Ha sido un gran viaje... bien hecho
Nice people with nice song.
They sound great. I love this song.
How lucky were these two to get this song from the Beatles. Could it have been the fact that Peter is Jane Asher’s brother?
What ever it is, they had it!!!
Great harmonies by this iconic duo.
Hard to beloebe that Gordon and I were both delivered by Gordons father within 24 hours of each other
Ahh that is Pinner for you, Elton John, Ronnie Barker, Peter and Gordon and Me.
They still sound good, and was that a Vox organ guitar doing the solo? A great 60s innovative instrument by Vox.
Got to hang with Gordon before he died. Showed me a guitar he had signed by every major British band in the early 60's.
Still great!
