In today's video I try baking Paul Hollywood's Chocolate Babka! This was a technical challenge on Week 4 of the 2020 Bake-Off. Honestly, I really love bake off for all the positive vibes and bootiful bakes. So, I thought it would be fun to try one of the challenges myself! Time for GBBO to cast me...

I adore everyone on collection 8!!! So many things I want to make from each episode and this is one of them! I want to make them into rolls like how Dave did in finale…also going to reduce some of the sweetness, instead of a sweetened syrup over all I’ll use something else, we shall see, 😝 Looks good though and thanks for sharing the recipe!!

Yes!
Btw challah is pronounced with a soft k/guttural h, if you can't pronounce that sound just use a regular h!
Lotti, along with most of the others, never made Babka before so shade was not necessary. But thanks for this tutorial.
This was actually my first time making a babka too! haha all jokes with Lottie, no shade intended, she is a great baker

This was rly engaging and fun to watch but gahhhhhhh I'm Jewish and the pronunciations of babka and challah literally made me CRINGE. Look it up for next time, I'm not offended or anything but you really should be correct with that kind of thing.

Jesus, it’s a babka recipe, not a public speaking with voting. Not everyone is a professional, it’s a great recipe. I bet if you made the babka you’d have been too happy and sweet to say something this salty
