- "It is the best sleight of hand that we´ve ever seen. You fooled our as*** bad!" Penn&Teller
This is my first performance in Penn and Teller Fool Us show in Vegas for CW TV Network. It was an epic moment that became viral all over the world.
This piece of magic (some people called it Magic Trick or insane trick) is called "Tribute to Ascanio". Ascanio "El Maestro" was one of the most influential magicians in the world and his books are still the best in magic theory.

The REQUIEM TO ASCANIO act is a tribute to his mentor. Benitez created this act in 1997, the year Arturo de Ascanio passed away.

If you slow the speed to 0.25 you will see clearly that the video will be longer to watch
lol
Does longer = take more time? Hmmm. Its still the same length but takes longer to watch. Hmmmm.
@@j.b.2263 He probably means that if you play the video with speed to 0.25, that the only difference is that the video take's longer to play ;)
Shut up, come up with your own jokes
Haha good one
Penn's ability to come up with inspirational speeches for every act is truly magical.
You don’t see it but they actually take about 10m discussing the truth between themselves before it concludes. The editing just cuts it out.
@@tamrix where can I watch entire episodes if I do not live in America?
@@makuntizichi1444 They get uploaded in full on youtube sometimes
@@makuntizichi1444 There's nothing to see. These are the entire episodes as broadcast. What's edited out is just Penn and Teller huddled together.
@@tamrix And? They're talking about the trick but Penn still has to come up with his actual talk which is still difficult to do in a short time.
This is why I love sleight of hand tricks. You know the explanation, you know the general concepts, but when it's done right, you still have no idea where the outcome came from and you can watch it multiple times and still enjoy it.
The original trick its based on is crazy.

His sleeve and hes just great at obfuscation? But also ues
Yeah, I was with him until the backs changed, then he took me on a ride. I know sleight of hand and I have no idea how this routine is done.
@@lamario is it not just completely perfectly executed sleight of hand using his sleeve? Thats what i see everytime....he just exectutes it perfect

All these years later and this is still easily one of the best performances on Fool Us
Absolutely agree!
and Dani Daortiz. Both Spanish :D
Out of all the acts I’ve seen on Fool Us, this is the one that looks like deadass REAL magic.
you should check out Rafael Scircoli's act then... lol
Yes , really confusing and no idea how he does it
Yeah if he lives in ancient times he would be worshipped or feared as a god or demon.
Wtf is deadass... Idiot
@@ra5071 learn slang…idiot
This is the type of magic trick I've always wanted to see... just RIGHT before your eyes. No smoke, no weird angles, no funny stuff... just BAM, make things appear and reappear. The best I've seen yet.

Why people impressed with magic that used mostly tool cards?
@@nguyenviet1941 Can you do it? Of course you can't. This guy just fooled Penn & Teller, and you are somehow threatened by his success. They claim it to be the best slight of hand they've ever seen. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. Nobody likes a know-it-all.
@@bobbyhoffman5967 "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Nobody likes a know-it-all. See what you did there?
@@nguyenviet1941 Cus he's good that's why we're impressed.
I like it when magicians don't explain what they are doing, or what's going to happen, and just let the trick speak for itself.
Great routine, well done!
You nailed it!
Wow, the card tricks did all the talking. The skills here are top of the game
Its incredible 😯✨
Magnetism =)
Bro under every video I watch I find a comment from you ( KISS, Beatles, Penn and Teller,...) How do you do that
I mean, I understand what sleight of hand is... but this dude just made stuff appear out of nowhere. I like can't even understand how this is possible.
Probably cause he is really colour shifting the cards with psychic powers.
@Jarad Doyon watch from 3:04 to 3:05 hes stacking the card thank me later
@@michaelsoliven4196 I think you're right, 4 stacks every stack 4 cards deep (extra thin cards probably? maybe with a surface that makes the have more cohesion with each other?) the cards in each stack have 3 different backs, 2 white one standard card back and one artsy card back. at the end he has each of the 4 stacks sitting with the 2 white backs pointed outwards.
Still tho, extremely impressive the way he switches card order. I couldnt do that in a million years
@@lopendepaddo yup even though pen and teller knows whats going on. They are so amazed with his talent that they just gave him the trophy
Bruuh you can clearly see he is just wiping some sort of coating off of the first cards to turn them into jokers
I know how good Teller is at slight of hand, so seeing his mouth wide open at 3:22 says LOADS about how good you are.
I thought he was yawning
@@doughboy_765 LOL
Sleight*
Well played sir
I interpreted that as a yawn. ;)
Performing this silently is such a power move - no misdirecting banter, all our attention is on his hands, and it's still totally mystifying!
I've watched this routine a few times now, basically whenever it pops up on my time line. Aside from the absolutely stunning magic, the one thing that I don't think has been mentioned enough is just how beautiful a routine it is. The music, the narrative, the theatrics of it, just all work together wonderfully to support the performance.
EXACTLY. The best I've ever watched and how magic should truly be displayed IMO. He made it elegant and mystical without the typical grind.
Complete performance
Beyond perfect. No stupid words wasted on some narrative. No distracting hand movements. No pretend communication with the audience. Just a spectacular performance.
Ive watched probably 90% of all of Penn and Teller shows and countless other routines and how to videos and slow motion shots over and over. I've been watching and analyzing and scrutinizing and dissecting and figuring out routines for years and this guy is in the top ten if not top five best I have EVER seen. Damn good. This is one routine you watch over and over and it never gets boring. This one goes in the playlist. This is what would be magicians should aspire to!
This act was simply unbelievable. What other acts would you place in your top 5 ?
Agree.. He raises that bar alongside shim, it was faultless even down to his mannerisms and music.. Amazing
You couldn't have said that better. The is one of the best card trick I've seen on any show...
What are the top 10 performances according to you? Both of shin lim and Shaun's made to the list I believe
give us your top 5
He's a bit shaky, but it's to be expected when you harness the power of demons.
Jake Fischer lol... Tell me about it
Eh...If you think that..
Yeah, the shakiness added to the suspense for me tho, it fit well in an odd way.
He is being sarcastic, is it in short supply these days or what? People just don't seem to get sarcasm these days. lol
illuminati
Seeing the flabbergasted look on Teller's face was priceless. The performance is SO good that it makes your believe magic truly exists in the world and that is a wonderful feeling.
Not only is Javi insanely talented, but his personality is infectious. Thanks for sharing your abilities with all of us.
More practice as talent.
I thought his personality was the worst part of it. Too over the top with horrible acting.
Absolutely mind blown. Simply incredible
Progress of my Reaction throughout the performance:
...Production of Jokers... Crap that was pretty crazy.
*Pretends to know whats going on. Thought using two cards with (white face-joker back) and (white-face-blue back) pairing setup. Sleight of hands: variants of tenkai palms, showing the same white side twice to appear as front and back, flipping both cards upside down, bending cards, shaky hands and other effects to make multiple cards appear as one after production??
...Production of First Queen... Oh shit. .
*Preparing mind to be fully blown. This guy means business. Perhaps using a complex arrangement of two or three card pairing earlier in production of jokers??? But that'd make sleights insanely harder due to sandwich effect with three cards??? And he never flashed??!?!?!?
...Production of Coloured Backs...
*Where the bloomin heck did those BLOODY COLOURED BACKS COME FRMO???!? DID I MISS A DECK SWITCH? REWINDs VIDEO. CAN"T FIND A SWITCH?????!?!?!?!?!??
...Production of Aces.....
*DOES NOT COMPUTE. ERROR.. ERROR. All speculation gone. Wouldn't be suprised if one of the cards turned into a unicorn and he flew off in the night. He is clearly a wizard
...........
FUCK IT.
Sam McEwan now that’s some comment
you just won the comment section!
did you see the the part where he does the switch to collor backs? the whole performace was with 4 cards, but during the part with the collored cards i see 5 cards, 2 purple, 1 the eye and 1 yellow. but one of the purple's dissapears after he draws the yellow one. i don't know anything about magic, but maybe this helps you?
i forgot to mention the 5th card, the purple/blue-ish one
This is the correct response.
I can tell the shaking is caused by adrenalin rush. Not nervous. He's a pro.
How do you think nervousness comes about, if not from adrenalin ? :)
@@AleksandarIvanov69 haha
@@neomagik86 I agree nerves and adrenaline are connected. Having nerves isn't a bad thing.
Or maybe it's just really, really cold up there on stage?
@Nonato M sorry I dont know how to explain.
When Teller looks amazed by sleight of hand magic, you know it's good. This remains one of my favorite episodes. Even if you knew the moves to do what he did, it then takes years if not decades to gain the level of skill to do them this smoothly and quickly one after another. This is as close to actual magic as it's possible to get I think. There's no gimmicks or props, just absolutely precise movements and timing.
I love how although technically they knew how you did it, sleight of hand, it was done so fluidly and professionally that it still fooled them as to how the sleight of hand was so good. Very well deserved!
He flashed a couple times, but even with a flash I struggled to understand his sleight of hand. Dude is a master for sure
Also I think that just saying "sleight of hand" isn't enough; they need to have a more specific understanding of the trick.
Shin Lim's "Dream Act" is amazing and beautiful, both technically and artistically. But it is possible to watch it and work out what he is doing. The folds, the sleights, the misdirections, the pen disappearance. You can see them if you watch it enough. This act? This is...flawless. Not a single show, no unnecessary movements that are concealing a drop or a switch. No gimmicks. I never thought anyone would stun me as much as Shin Lim. Javi Benitez did it.
The snap-teleportations of the signed card?
Not flawless, you can see the last switch on the last card.
Javi is way better than Shin. IMHO, Shin is a bit overrated for what he can do.
Guy Fawkes; Agree with You about Shin Lim who is amazing and orchestrates his performance with music! Javi Benitez also orchestrated this performance with music and his performance, technique surpasses yet. Seems Javi's performance was after Shin Lim's on P&T. If so, then P&T's comment about Javi as "... the best slight of hand we have ever seen ... ", includes Shin whom they were also impressed and fooled. And let's not forget the blind dealer who simply amazed P&T with all of his moves, ,methods, and technique, whom they had no deliberation about giving him a "Fooled" immediately!
:-)
Shin Lim is the best AGT candidate and most suitable ambassador to represent magicians on that program. His concerto skills made him at the level competing with musicians and dancers that were hard to top. No other magicians could have pulled off that win that season except Shin Lim. While he is excellent in his own right, there are many MANY pros that are like him so don’t miss out. Shin Lim is one of the greats.
Love Penn's scream at 3:21
holy shit that's hilarious. perfectly timed
Sounds more like a hungry cat
Not sure it’s a scream per se, it sounds like a seagull. I wonder how many musicians have used seagulls on their albums?
That's brilliant! Made me piss myself laughing lol
😂😂😂
I'm reminded of Shin Lim watching this, but Javi's cards are far more exposed and less hidden. In my opinion it makes the sleight of hand all that more impressive. My reaction was the same as Penn and Teller at 3:20.
the guy in the front row at the very end next to the lady is wondering if he still has a girlfriend .
Are you sure he’s not just yawning? I didn’t think it was sleight of hand at this point
Breathtakingly amazing. I like that Penn did not muck around and just expressed his admiration for these skills. Teller's reactions were also beautiful. Best magic trick I've ever seen.
This guy did not deserve the trophy, he was clearly cheating. It's against the rules to use real magic powers on the show!
Filip Schneider thats why i don't watch it anymore. This is all real magic and that's unfair to other people who don't have magical powers.
Seriously though, if anybody on the show possibly had real magic powers it's this dude.
I suppose it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to say holding the all seeing eye in a way that is overlooked acts as a free pass
Where do they say it's against the rules?
And "magic powers" are simply "scientific powers" that people are unaware of.
Filip Schneider You must be old. You do realize they have LCD screens as thin as paper now that you can fold and or roll up?
At first I thought it was heat activated material that changes color or exposes images when warmed up with body heat like in the early 90s but this had too many images and when it went back to white then I realized it was merely LCD. Pretty lame trick.
I didn't watch the rest of the video but I hope to hell this didn't fool Penn and Teller.

Going thru a bit of a fool us binge at the moment, this trick was beautiful to watch. You are extremely talented.
I absolutely love when magic tricks are done with such artistism. And it is what I see here: not only awesome tricks, but the play in general, when you even don't want to follow any moves to figure the trick out. You just wanna watch the performance and be enjoyed. Bravo!
I met Javi at the Magic Castle Sunday night, and he asked if I’d snap a pic of him and his guests from Spain as they were bouncing out. I’d had no idea he was performing that night.
I had a brief personal story relating to him and a family member (why I was doubly stoked to meet him), & he was genuinely touched by it. I was so blown away by his GENUINE warmth as a human; he’d actually pulled me in for a hug! We took a pic for my mother, and I’m never starstruck. Javi Benitez is one of thee most sincere and REAL performers I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet, and just felt compelled to share this little anecdote w his fans. What a great guy. 🙏 ✌️
He sounds amazing!
I think you hit the jackpot by meeting him.
That is so cool to hear!
That's funny because I saw Javi at a supermarket in Spain while on holiday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
@@antdgar It's an overused copy pasta but I'll give you a pass this time since I wasn't expecting it and read almost half of it before I realized what it was ;)
I loved how he was just a bit nervous where you could see his hands shaking and he still murdered it.
I think the shaking actually covers up alot
I thought the shaky hands were on purpose?
That was the part of trick
@@ThisDesignLife holy cow by shaking the atoms of any type of matter creates heat and with that heat u can change anything at a molecular level. yes he looks nervous but that is what causes the atoms to realign and configure images that you expect to see. Might be just drunk.. but i think that wasnt the case the movement was intentional...
Hands down the best performance I've seen on this show!
great play on words.....
This act is perfection. This is the 4th time in a few years I've watched it now, and it only gets better each time. Music and everything about it is perfection.
This is probably my favorite performance yet on fool us
Shin Lim is still my favorite performance but this one is definitely one of the top ones
Have you seen the metal cups and balls?
tbh i think it's somewhat doctored, the first card showing up has some sketchy artifacts that makes me want captain D to take a look.
I love how this guy didn’t even bother with the fooled penn and teller in the title! Awesome performance too! Amazing
I've had magic as a hobby since about 1977 and I am absolutely stunned by this man. He is at Shin Lim level and *beyond.*
The magic here is in his cards, his hands, his face and his whole act. That was truly wonderful to watch, as he makes you believe its all real. Javi is a true master of his craft!
What javi and shin-lim have in common.
Red shirt and black vest = key to success

He's does this routine so flawlessly it basically looks like real magic. One of the best on Fool Us, this guy's easily as good as Kostya Kimlat or Shin Lim
Sorry!, there's difference between card trick and magic, this man used real magic probably. Kostya 99% using trick and hard practice with fast moves. Shin Lim used many tricks that all explained, there's some of them not explained to me like the smoke 💨 trick. So u can say Javier is a magician or the most intelligent and brilliant man who came from the future.
What about Farquhar?
you cant compare shin lim to this sleight of hand. shin lim just uses lots of tricks and misdirection. all his tricks have been solved.
but this, javi benitez. you cant find anyone who can explain this.
@@centralprocessingunit2564 he's holding more than 8 cards at once, so a possible of at least 16 different faces. It's not completely explainable as his routine is insanely clean and original, but it's still a routine that can be solved.

coming from a magic family I agree !00%
I'm def. not going to tell you. If Craig does i'm revoking his magicians card.
you saying that lets me know you have no clue. For one, there are plenty of techniques, secondly, everyone ALWAYS says the know, and they never ever do.
Only ever Fooled Us that’s brought tears to my eyes when he won - so moving, such a lovely guy!
You are just on a whole different level. Absolutely incredible performance from start to finish. You took a beautiful art of Slight of Hand to a degree that calling it that doesn't even come close to doing it any justice. From the little that I have watched of the show, you and Shin Lim are just the best.
They are right. They could of said it was slight of hand and say you didn't fool us, but he did it so well that they could not just say it was slight of hand. If they did that it would have been like saying, you did a magic trick so you didn't fool us. Amazing show.
The same would be true even if they called it "sleight of hand"! :P
I believe that's exactly what Jacob said.
Larry Higginbotham, you missed the joke. Jacob said "slight of hand" (a misspelling of "sleight of hand").
thats what he just said
This was done with Hollywood Grade synthetic Skin like gloves that can be worn all the wat up to the shoulder thats used in movies and by many magicians to cut Quarters out of their skin...Also can be used on faces...Anyway his right hand/wrist is coated with the synthetic skin that goes up to his forearm.....He thin Cut into the Skin right around where he wears his beads around his wrist at.....This is the pocket where he holds his cards....And then from there its all experience and sleight of hand.....Notice at the end how he goes out of his was to avoid shaking hands with both Penn and Teller and also how he very carefully grabs the trophy because if they squeezed his hand too hard his gimmick would have been up.....You can fool Penn and Teller but not me....Want me to reveal other magic tricks to you? Comment with a link below and i will reveal them.. Its kind of what i do....😂😂😂
Javi is the definition of charisma.
I have watched this clip a dozen times, and it's still as beautiful as the first time I watched it. So well done.
This is the kind of magic that I absolutely love to watch; it's not just about performing the trick, it's about the art of the performance itself - the theatrics, the music, even the panache.
Of all the routines on this show, this, for me, is by far the best. No matter how he did it, its progression is absolutely perfect.
I'm pretty sure the audience missed a lot of tricks he did. He changed a card like almost every second. This guy had reached perfection
ok yes, but where in the world was he getting the cards from lol
@@salvationbygracethroughfaith I don't think so... he's not even wearing a wrist band. He has several bracelets on which spread apart a few times throughout the act (see at 1:54 for example), you can clearly see there's no cards hidden behind these bracelets.

i have watched every episode of fool us this trick is by far my favorite. Javi you're are brilliant magician
Anybody else feel like they are watching actual magic with this? It's one of the best sleight of hand card magicians performing at an elite level... Even when you know a couple of the sleights - he's that good that they're invisible. Hats off to you sir... And I hope you're all staying safe.
Thanks so much Spencer for your kind words!
Just to be perfectly clear . . . he not only did all of that, but he did all of that despite having SHAKY nervous hands from being under such a major spotlight of professional scrutiny, huge live theater, and TV audience with millions of viewers. In practice at home, I guarantee he has done this trick even smoother, if that's possible.
rmcdaniel423 You idiot. He didn't have shaky hands because he was nervous. It's a part of his act. He's shaking as if the cards are almost alive or that they have spirits in them. He shakes his hands with the cards to add effect to his trick. It adds tremendous showmanship and matches the background music. He isn't shaking because he is nervous, he's been doing Vegas Acts for years. How ignorant.
no I think he was nervous
KrnRnner That's how you talk to strangers? Like every other rude jackass online. Classy.
He was def nervous AND the shaking hands was part of the act :)
john edwards You sound like a troll. Shut the fuck up.
This act has some serious Shin Lim vibes with the way he does the trick with a deliberate seriousness, a majestic sound track, and lets the trick speak for itself.
when you watch a trick over and over and over and it still feels like magic like it did the first time
I cannot lie you can watch most of these magic videos in slow motion on CZcams and I can see most of the magicians moves but this performance I have to say is the best on fool us because I cannot see shit in slow-mo as much as I run it back I just can't see the moves this guy is the best to go on fool us
I think I caught one move, maybe, early on. Then I just gave up, this guy is too good for mere mortals like myself.
Just saying, you know your sleight of hand game is top tier when you see the look of amazement on Teller's face
I love this. After you watch enough acts (especially on this show) it's hard to turn off the critical mindset that wants to unravel the trick and understand it. This time I just sat there like a child in awe, feeling like magic is real
This magic art, gives a whole new meaning to up your sleeves.
This is legitimately the best magic I've ever seen
This is art... Period! Such passion transcends medium, whether it song, dance, painting or sleight of hand, this is pure display of true passion for ones craft...
This is one of the best performances I have seen on the show! Very well done.
I really love the reaction of Penn&Teller. It must mean a lot from the professional point of view to you.
Bien hecho! Maravilloso!
This is like fine wine. I watch this once in a while, and each time, I appreciate it more and more.
I don't know what it is about this act that makes me want to rewatch it all the time. Maybe it's the mystery and the subtlety of it that captures me.
In watching this, it was so mind blowing that I'd fear for your life if we were in the middle ages, because that is as close to magic as it gets, I have no clue how you did it.
I’ve watched this video so many time it is just so beautiful, Penn and Teller’s response is the most respectful I’ve witnessed and that has just given you so much credit.
every once in a while I go back to this routine to get my brain melted, to get that feeling of real magic I lost a little while back now.
the very first transformation always makes my jaw fall on the ground, this is soooo visual
I've watch LOTS of magic. This guy is TOP NOTCH!

i watch this the first time it aired. and everytime i watch this again still amazes me .. wow. still number 1 javi. no one can top that. 👍👍💪
Song is Yulunga (Spirit Dance) by Dead Can Dance if anyone wanted to know :D
Yes, that was the only thing that didn't fool me.
Thank a lot
Makes sense. I can see the demon that ACTUALLY performs the "trick" dancing in him.
Lol thank you. I just asked the name of the song right before I read your comment.
You have to get about halfway in for what you hear during the performance. And a stunningly well-recorded album.
One of my favorite acts ever! Very artistic, and just mind-blowing. Javi is one of those few magicians that are actually doing real magic, like how the hell is that even possible?.
Absolute masterpiece!
Nunca me cansaré de ver este acto. Sin duda lo mejor que he visto en este show en todos los años que tiene
It's now four years after he appeared on the show. I have seen this act dozens of times. It's still as amazing as the first time I saw it.
This is one trick that I never want to be explained to me, the only performance that feels like real magic
same here
But there is no explanation bro it’s just pure music for our eyes
I can even see the card change in his hand like in the corner or an angle you are not supposed to see and i still can't figure it out.
One of the best magic acts I've ever seen. Inspiring, magical, professional, just gorgeous. Lots of respect.
Been a few years since I've seen this video and it's still Just as magical as the first time. What a great performance.
That's Penn simply throwing mad props up to the art and talent of that guy's craft.
I'm so glad it was on my recommend list. The trick starts off suspenseful and slow, and just keeps gaining momentum.
Style, charisma, and skill: this guy is a great showman
I saw this a few years ago. Re-watching it, I was still amazed and didn’t see moves coming. Amazing job!
I keep coming back to this video to witness real magic, one of the best acts I ever seen! 👏👏👏
Out of all the episodes of Fool Us I think this is the best and most entertaining magic trick, plus it is done with such simplicity and style. If someone said that this was actual magic I would not be surprised in the least. I don't want to read the comments because I do not want to know how it is done. I need to get to Spain to see this guy!
you can read the comments. nobody's got the slightest clue about it anyways
I love these tricks where i think i'm a smartass "Meh, it's just card that change with friction" and then get schooled a few seconds later as if to mock me!
Great trick!
it most likely was on that one to be fair
Most of the trick was actually that
This is the definition of “off the charts”. The music was fitting as well. Bravo!!!
This man is amazing! I couldn’t catch anything! No flash no nothing! Absolutely flawless!
This topped Shin Lim's first performance for me my dude. As well as both Michael Vincent performances. Whoever is part of your life should be very proud, as of course should you. Beautiful piece of art!
I think Shins performance had this really magical feeling this goofy guy couldn't produce. He's more refined as a performer, not just about the tricks imo. Though this was obviously also great.
Iago Dantes I think that Michael Vincent remains my favourite, but this comes close.
Shin lim's second tho...
There's no need to compare magicians, as if only one can be great. It's not a zero-sum game. I would watch Shin Lim and/or Javi Benitez all day. They're both bring tears of joy to my eyes!
I would agree. Shin was more theatrical, but this is the best slight of hand I've ever seen.
The magic was really impressive, but the performance art aspect of the act was what really made it special. Good work.
The presentation is stellar. That music with those facial expressions somehow feels like hundreds of years ago when the moors were in Spain.
and his costume , he is a great entertainer . I don't want to know the trick , enjoy it to much .
A lot of sleight of hand magic you can slow down and at least try to form some kind of idea of what’s going on or even figure it out, but this is just flat out insane; the most incredible sleight of hand I have ever seen, bravo!
Henry Fox Ive been obsessed with this trick since I ssw it. Even going frame by frame you just cant tell.
I agree. I went at 25% through part of it and was just like fuck it, this is too good.
I’m fairly certain the bracelets come into play at one point but for the rest I’m just in awe and confounded
Was thinking the same thing about the bracelets. I can't see how he uses them but aside from saying "this dude can actually do magic" its the only way I can see it being done.
Penn made it pretty obvious how it was done at the end. Amazing act though!
One of my favorite performances on PTFU.. what a beautiful routine
I adore slight of hand and have learned plenty about it and can even do some limited things. To say it takes a lifetime to get as good as Javi is an understatement. This is as close as you can come to actually having magic changing cards. This is pure awe on display. Incredible!
Its a Juan Tamariz based trick, enough said.

I knew he was going to fool them, this is just too amazing... The sound track made my day, the smiles all perfect for the act.. thank you for presenting Africa in the sound track and presentation... I love you, all the way from Nigeria
I'm a curious person, I always like to learn how any kind of magic is done. But, man... This is so beautiful I don't even wanna know anything about it. Pure sorcery indeed! You're so freaking good, congratz!
