Michael Mack I got in this hobby at 12 (I’m 14 now). It’s not hard to do. And if there isn’t something I don’t know how to do, I simply watch a few yt videos. I bet you didn’t know how to do that when u got into the hobby
@@xxodawg72xx99 i got into the hobbie in 9th grade when i bought a tamiya supethornet. There was no youtube and cars didnt come rtr. I had my mom take me back to the hobbie store cause no radio was in the box. No lipo batteries or smart charges ect. The thing is we had interest in the hobbie and seeked it out.just handing a rich kid a toy to break is dumb he might not even like cars or going outside duck just play fortnight ect.

That is pretty kick ass you got one of the pre release ones. I've never been a fan of that style and size rim, but the rest of the truck looks killer. Maybe someone will make some scale 19.5" ten hole Alcoa like the 450 has stock.

That's really the only two faults for an otherwise great looking machine!! Deans connector and the body posts.. hidden ones or magnets would have been nicer.

@RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 or anyone for that matter? Is there a direct drop in 2 or 3 speed transmission for this truck? I just got mine and want to keep the low gear for towing and light off road running. But when running on the pavement I would like to see it go a little faster. Or....is there a different motor option that will spin faster but still have the torque? I'm running a 3s LiPo 3500

yo this is actually sick. Might have to get one to tow my rc boat wih/ and to tow my axial scx10 on a trailer. The gray and red wheels are sick. Now I want to build a custom trailer from my thrasher v3 so I can tow it with this truck. I know the Thrasher V3 is kinda big and will probably not look scale but it will still probably look sick.

Oh boy Steve. Where to start with this thing...
The Good:
* It's really really really fucking ugly. And that's because it's a pretty faithful reproduction of the F350/450 brodozers clogging up the roads over here! It's a scale model of a hideous vehicle, so it should itself be hideous!
* Seems to be fairly well built underneath. NGL the chassis looks like it's got some serious potential. I'd totes buy one of these as a slider for some custom builds.
* Loving the open diffs. Too few scalers have those.
* Seems to perform pretty well all things considered.
The bad:
* It's fucking hideous....
* It's a brodozer. Brodozers are absolutely hopeless at actually off-roading and this one's gonna be the same way.
* It's gonna be real hard to drive this thing scale. 99.999% of these things are never going to see anything rougher than wet leaves on a suburban street and spend their days tailgating people and in general being driven by right cunts. To drive this thing scale you'd need to bump draft people, cut 'em off, run 'em off the road, run lights, have basically zero respect for anyone else around you haha
The ugly:
**It's hideous**
TestECull I have know idea what your talking about brother, I’m gonna buy one cause I’m a collector/driver. Hideous is some people’s wives but someone thinks there beautiful and loves them. I’d say the same about this, not your taste.....cool but stupid is is stupid does. And it’s dirt cheap.....I’d buy an rc daily if they were this cheap.
The ford's are the best looking new trucks out there, and I'm an old truck type of guy so I know what looks good

I finally got one, the blue. Beautiful truck. But the frame needs to be longer behind the rear axle. The trailer hit receiver is 85mm in under the bumper so you will need a really long hitch which will then put stress on the plastic hitch mount and break it. I am going to modify it in some way. I want to tow my big RC boat which weighs 20 pounds.

Great video Steve! Too bad the RC is trash, send it to me and I'll dispose of it properly ( on my shelf and in my videos). 🤣This truck is precisely what I have been planning to build! ( And less expensive than trying to piece one together) I would like to see them offer steel or aluminum bumpers and a scale looking trailer hitch! The 2.8 " wheels are much bigger than any semi-truck wheels currently available. Definitely on my wish list!
