Love your channel! Just fell back in love with coin collecting. You provide awesome content, thank you. Keep up the good work.
I appreciate all the knowledge that you bring to us here on CZcams. I was going through my 83 Pennie’s last night and I stumbled upon an 83 Philadelphia ddo ear variety coin. You mentioned the 83 Denver ddo ear variety but nothing about a Philadelphia coin.
It’s very clearly noticeable and not gouged or scratched. Is this a coin you’re familiar with, or did I find something special in my pile of 83’s
I'm a disabled woman I'm trying to do this as a side hustle to help me and my mom. I've been studying for over a month now ,and love the detail and current value that's more realistic for coins because People get caught up in the idea of getting a lot for a coin which is great but you know it's nice to be able to have something affordable for people too and I want to start doing this and have a fair and nice site for people. I have ADHD so I have to scoot ahead through your videos but I appreciate all your effort to help us and really you make it so interesting and fun.! I have a 83 that says DIberty . Ihave been studying rare errors and want to make this a side profession . Well we'll see. But I'm trying hard and I do have several die clashes that are creepy One looks like pennywise the clown I don't know you know you can't find anybody that can really tell you the prices and of these specific kind of die clashes I have multiple errors not just one and keep me up with the amount to sell it for so I don't want to rip on anybody off. I don't want to under sell on myself either .. I'm sick so I study a lot because I'm down and this is kind of perfect for me I can't do a lot of housebound mostly so I study coins all day and I study errors for hours even on one coin so if anybody wants help with that I can do it for like you know a little bit I don't want to charge a lot I don't want to get rich I just want to help people. I have time when al.ot of people don't

This must be my day. Because I just found a 1883 D Double Ear while CRH!! Shaun, without you making this video, I might have not looked for this coin. THANK YOU.
Excellent presentation as always… Thank you!
good one...I missed this one but came home with three 1983 (Ps) in my pocket one day a couple weeks ago. for the middle of WA state, anything not 'D' is unusual. I have been messing with them, trying to get the right angle to see the splits, etc...this helps. now I have to go through all my Denver issues and look for the ear. i hope to get lucky. I bought a penny jar and it was loaded with them. cheers.
thanks for the vid good sir👍👍😁
I have 1975 Lincoln cent, have value of this coin..and 1977 roosevelt dime..thanks for ur ads..keep up the good work..
Wow, number one looks great. That's going on my list to buy. My all time favorite error is the 95 double ear. That's the coin that gave me the interest in errors.
I have 1995 Lincoln penny.
As I have always said to you in on way are another youaregreat with the info and a plus on the way you present it coodos my man
I found some 83's but only in fair condition. Thanks always.
Would love to see a topic on why machine doubling is not collectible. If nobody saves uncirculated examples, then they would become rare and valuable IMO. An error is an error, no denying that machine doubling is an error. The Mint surely did not intend for a coin to look like that. So I’m saving some nice examples of machine doubling just in case the numismatic world agrees with me some day.
I like that thought. It's the same reason I'll sometimes save interesting looking stuff like good examples of MD or plating bubbles etc... At the very least they're useful as reference, especially if you're trying to teach someone about different errors.
I just found 2 1983 copper pennies that weigh 3.1 grams in a old BU roll super stoked about it
I save all small date 1982's and all 1983's but haven't been through them yet. This makes me wonder just what I could have stashed and not even know it. So starts another hunt. Thanks BlueRidge.
Weigh the 83s also if you have any that are 3.1 you have yourself a find.
83s are my toy too l probably have 100 saved over many years of seeking for them . Thanks for more info!!!
Great video on the '83 thanks!
I just got a beautiful 1984 with two VDB s ,,,one next to the other. ,I don't even mess with pennies
Good info,i have this 83 reverse found today
Woohoo i have one full red in great shape!
All info is good info!! No matter how long you take. If ppl already now that’s what fast forward is great for. The rest of us are probably rewinding, lol.
I have a 1983 "DOUBLE LETTER" Penny
For sell?
Wow! I thought I knew all about the 83'. I feel like I should have a tassle hanging from a cap now. I don't mind videos 17 minutes long when they drop that much knowledge on me. Great one Blue.
One of my 83's believe is copper with a heavy toned rainbow glow to it
You need to weigh it.
This was one of my first coins I got from my grandfather he was the one that got me into coins ....mine is a ms66RD thanks for the video
Hi Shaun. When you send in pictures to auction what magnification should you use. ? Thanks
Shawn, hello what a great video. This is going to knock your socks off!!!...You know that in the 19yrs. now that I have been searching rolls I ONLY found the Die#2 doubled die reverse, never found the Die#1. I found in 19yrs. 5 Die#2, also I have found 7 Die#1 doubled die obverse, and the other obverse doubled dies....I love the 1983 doubled dies also...
I have an 83d (not copper) where Lincoln in the memorial looks like he is wearing a top hat. Just a quirky coin I found
Mr. Blue Ridge Silver-hound, I really appreciate your videos. I know there are coins of different grading obviously, but I get a little lost regarding the categories when it comes to circulation. I know there are coins that are termed "in-circulated," yet, how does a person know a coin is not circulated and how do you get a coin non-circulated? Also, a lot of coin collectors try to get rolls of coins that are either rolled and new (old) and circulated or not? How do you get coin rolls and where? I am so new to this so if these questions are sort of dumb, I guess I am trying to take as much as I can in and I want to kind of get some beginners info.Any suggestions?
I found a 1983 D rpm and 2 1983 D clashed dies. There's also a 1983/8 D out there. Wow, great video
Kenya yes 1983
1971 yes
WhatsApp adoonalle
I have 1983 looks like big error.roof hit down middle
Awesome video
Great information about 1983 lincoln cents, would like to see video about the 8 different 1982 Lincoln cent varieties, thanks!
Only suggestion would be to put a error coin next to a regular coin so we could better see the DD great video
great, informative and still a lot of fun , you should make a list and sell it to a publisher
Have one sweetie . wow have a 1944 just found. Love your show . love ya
Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you
Shaun, I got luck finding an 83 DDR. Yet to hear they've bottomed out the way they have only makes me determined to keep mine as long as possible. Great video.
i'm trying to make a list of coins that i need to keep a eye out for i'm dyslexic and a d d so and i'm 60 years old that don't help lol so i watch your video everyday Love them. Thanks
GOOD morning SHAUN ❤ Hey my darlin...i know my eyes are a bit off HOWEVER...you may WANT to double check (I think it was PENNY #1...if not #2 ) the obverse of the bottom of Lincoln's jacket. Stoner here thought she saw a bit of the REVERSE of the columns a little sideways on the coin. THANK YOU FOR sharing! How are you ? I am hoping you and your family is safe from the fires. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU CALIFORNIA's AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME.❤
Hey blue, got an important question? What do yo do when you see that somebody is tracking your package, cause for the first time i have somebody tracking my shupments movement and i need to know if you've ever encountered that?
I dont know much about this some how your pretty good on explaining god this 1983 i have a decent amount tnks for your time
That DD reverse looks like machine doubling I have been seeing on many other coins. I have not been saving all the coins that exhibit flat doubling all the way around. Is there a good video comparing machine doubling vs double dies ?
I got a 50 dollar bag with rolls that has a bunch of 83,84 89, and 91's in it . They look brand new to. Need to get some sent somewhere. I just question myself on everything.
Thanks for the video. I have a question. You said the mint used bronze for the pennies prior to 1983. Bronze is an alloy made up of copper and tin and various other ingredients. Is the metal used in the making of Lincoln cents bronze or full copper. Thank you for your help in this matter. I hear copper and bronze used interchangeably and have wondered why this is.
nice good job
Hi trying to find the best way to sell coins, love your videos, old ones, and new ones

I've got the other video that you had a while ago.Ive got to get to weighing my 83,s, I've got pounds of them. Save everyone of them for the last 2- 3 yrs. It would be nice to have one that " weights-out" heavier then the rest, lol. Thanks brother.

DO YOU HAVE A TAPE ON THE OBVERSE DIE COUNTER CLASH REVERSE CUT ON ONE CENT?
Hello Silverhound. Love your channel !! So, I've inherited a few bags of old coins. All kinds of old pennies from the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, etc. And some earlier and later. Also some other coinage. I'm looking for someone knowledgeable (and interested) in talking with me about them. I'm new to this but totally into it !! Anyhow, I'm going to get a scale, a magnet and a good magnifier. A self grading book I saw, and do the best I can. But there's alot if stuff I don't know what to look for. Anyhow, I hope you read this and are interested. I will be selling them, so if your interested, of course you will get first dib's and a discount. I see you like pennies.... and I've got some indian head/Buffalo nickles, mercury head dimes, quarters from the 30's, 40's, 50's, a few silver dollars and half dollars, ( I SWEAR I see big time strike through in an old silver dollar)..... and some British coins, Chinese, Mexican, and others. Hope to hear from you soon.
I found it thanks...

I have the number two coin. It is a real gem! Need help how to go about getting the best price for it. Great information though.
I don't understand why you always feel you have to apologize for the length of your videos bro. I appreciate all the info you give. So keep it up. 👍
shadowhead masked bandit, he apologizes for the long videos because subconsciously he feels a little bad about the videos that could have been squeezed down to a third of the length. The longer the videos......the more commercials the videos have! Just like network TV, the commercials are part of how he gets paid $$ for what he does on CZcams! Just like any other business....he is in it to make $$. One way or another, it’s for the money! If anyone that makes several lengthy videos every single day on CZcams tells you that they do not do it for the money, they only do it to help the masses for free........well, they’d be flat out lying to you! LoL!
@@cheezmosarcazmo434 ohhhh. Makes perfect sense. Thanks
