Hey Daniel, I found one of those 1983 bronze 3.11 grams Pennies a couple of month ago. I sent it to Ken Potter and he says it's going the one. He sent it off to Stacks & Bowers for grading and auction on August 5, 6 in New York. One in a billion. Yeah and it's a good one.

I must say that it boggles my mind to think that anyone would pay $20k+ for a single penny...
But Lord knows I’d let them pay me if I had one. But it’s still mind blowing!
As always, thank you for educating us. I appreciate all the advice and knowledge you throw our way.

The short answer to your question is no. My dad knew a store owner that pulled a nice 16D Mercury from circulation in the 50’s but this is MUCH rarer than that. It’s like a Powerball ticket with maybe a little better odds.

I am subbed to so many channels now that I would be watching non stop 24 hours a day. No can do. Sooooooo, I hit the > and fast watch a lot of videos. Some I even >>>>. Also, it is the holiday season so some people do not have the time to dedicate to watch videos all the way. That being said, I appreciate the information that you put out and look forward to your knowledge being shared. Thank you Daniel.

And that’s why I like watching your videos not only your showing the difference between coins that are valuable and not valuable because some of the other channels are misleading sometimes because they forget to explain why such coin are valuable and some are not and I see the trend now where they starting to explain why others are worth a lot and some don’t where new coin collector like myself get mislead sometimes which I learned a lot just watching your channel by the way Merry Christmas and keep up the good content we really appreciate what your doing so thank you 🙏 👍🏼👍🏼😅

Really enjoying these videos. I think the 1983 transitional error was amazing to find, and lucky to find. Because I basically was just pulling out zinc from the copper bucket. And then for 1983's checking for DDR, not the super rare transitional error. Still I'm annoyed I wasn't aware of the 1982 small D transitional error. Life lessons. Keep these coming!

off topic. i just purchased a 10 dollar liberty head that was described as XF. 90% of the reeding is missing. it doesn't show other signs of wear. is the missing reeding put it in a damaged category? i purchased it as bullion, but wanted to select a coin that had upside potential as a coin. it is an 1898 P i realize that it is common date, does the missing reading impact the value as a graded coin? can it be XF with missing reeding? it is missing from the obverse edge all the way to the last bit of edge on the reverse. i looked online quite a bit before tossing this question out to your comments section. i didn't find anything on reeding wear and coin grades. your thoughts??? might make a good topic for a video.

I have a 1983 Philidephia penny that weighs 3.1g...but even more unique in that it has a bronz-platimum appearance with a slightly iridized sheen... I've taken it to several collectors who have been stumped by it because it got iridized at the mint before it age colored... The best guess is that it got its iridized platinum appearance from being 100% copper and taking alot of heat from being stuck in the caster for a while...

I thought if they had American Silver Eagle, Peace Dollar and Flowing Hair Large Cent would been far better and more attractive choices. At least two that I named are a lot of people favorites. Although they did have some of the coins that I do favor in there.

Daniel when you send coins into PCGS. Check the boxes on intake sheet for
Grading and variety. If you write a description of the coin. Do you have to be right, or are they supposed to put the variety even if I didn't have it right? Also do I even have to write a description at all if I checked the variety box? Got some pennies back from them. One was 1983 red grades 67. I said it was a Ddr they didn't agree. When I look for value for 1983 red grade 67 there is nothing on the guide. All are varieties 5 on red 2 on red brown

I have one 1983 D with what looks like 2 Mint marks. I can email a picture to you or someone who has a better idea of error coins. To see if it's a rare coin/error. Thank you!
